Is it true Winterborn shield and jewelery do not drop in nMA?
I've done nMA about 25 times and no jewelery or shields. Someone in zone chat says they only drop in vMA. Is this true? Thanks.

✭I got the necklace on normal, small pieces drop on in the first 4 rounds, big pieces drop in the next 4 rounds with jewelry being able to drop in round 8 in rounds 9 you get a weapon and jewelry but it comes down to RNG.
I gave up farming a chest piece and settled for the necklace instead.

Well yeah. It's kinda pity those weapons from sets there are so much pain to get when You're looking for something specific because I would really like to test for example elemental succesion inferno staff on mag dk or mag necro but it's too much pain to farm. -

You can test it on PTS, @Juhasow ... as long as you're PC platform.

You can test it on PTS, @Juhasow ... as long as you're PC platform.

Problem is @Taleof2Cities on PTS it's bugged. Or atleast it was last time I wanted to test it. It have some issues with refreshing the buff causing way lower uptime then it should've. I am not sure but I think on PTS it had 4 seconds duration and 5 seconds cooldown last time I've checked.Edited by Juhasow on October 24, 2019 3:21AM -

✭✭It feels like they go on some kind of jacked up cycle with drops. Currently I keep getting some kind of hunt leader resto/Destro s/b nonsense. I’ve no idea if vet or normal makes a difference?
I have got a decent stash of Maelstrom inferno’s ready to make a salty decon video.
But for stuff that I want....no succession inferno. Only 2 Winterborn ice Staves. No hunt leader daggers. But like 36 maces and swords. -

DSA weapons are BoE only for 2 hours and You can trade it only with 3 group members You wre in the vault with the chest. Similar thing goes for BRP weapons and basically any 12 man trial gear. You cannot trade DSA weapons in guild stores.Edited by Juhasow on October 24, 2019 7:49AM -

ZOS already greatly improved the droprates for the jewellery and weapons from those sets (winterborn, glorious defender etc). I made a thread about it during Homestead I think. Back then you weren´t even guaranteed to get a weapon or jewellery from the last stage of the non-vma weapon sets. Jewellery drops on stage 8 and 9 while weapons only drop from last stage.

I think the DSA sets they were thinking of are Destruction Mastery/Footmans/Archers mind. Those sets are truly Boe and are analogous to Winterborn/succession.
