If you think ESO PVP is laggy, take a look at this WoW video how terrible it is

Part 2 Timestamp: 11:30 - 12:30

So if you thing Cyrodiil is bad, take a look at this parody in Classic WOW when 150-200 people gather... even their movement is laggy let alone taking 4-5 seconds to cast a skill.
The good thing in WoW is that the combat there is not reactive and is very noob friendly unlike ESO.

I tried to watch the video. Unfortunately this reminds me of why I usually don't care for streamers. Their videos are almost always riddled with lame attempts at humor and poorly disguised adolescent cries for attention. I wish they could just shut up and show the video (I hope that was not you in the video, in which case I apologize for being so free with opinions ^^).

Anyway, to comment directly: back when I played WoW it played exceptionally well, even in dense PvP environments. So either things have changed dramatically since I was on the game (which is possible, it's been several years) or this is a problem related to the WoW Classic servers in particular.

    LOL not reactive.

Secondly, its simple math. Computers crunch polygons. Wow has a more cartoonish style with lower polygons that allow for more people on the play field. If you put 200 people in ESO on the same playfield the game would crash.

What you see in WoW and ESO is NOT a rendering issue, it is network issue which is causing latency, go back to school.

    Incorrect. Its both

Too many polygons on the playfield will result in low FPS
Crappy network and net code will result in bad latency.
ESO has both issues. Wow has neither.

What the heck was that? A field of ants getting nuked by a firestorm, narrarated by one of those Monster Truck Jam commercial actors? I can't parse it, sorry :D
