Condense all attunable tables into one table of each type

Let’s be real here. Many of you forgo getting the attunable tables for a few reasons. Too much effort being one or too many to keep up to date or the biggest one in my opinion. THE BLOODY EYESORE THAT THEY CREATE WHEN TRYING TO HAVE A DETAILED HOUSE!

They take up at this point almost half of the homes housing space to place all of them assuming you have been doing all the work to collect them all.

I refuse to get them for the simple reason that it would completely destroy my ability to have a nice detailed home. So what’s my solution?

Well it’s simple. Create one attunable table for blacksmithing woodworking clothing and jewelry. Next add schematic pages that create a tab for each set on the tables. So you want to create hundings right tab until it’s selected. And to prevent confusion just make the table display the name on HUGE BOLD LETTERING. This would make it so anyone who wants to have a nice house and wants to put forth the effort to have the tables can do both. It’s no fun having a guild hall that is 50% crafting tables. Iv got the mundus stones Iv got dummies and Iv got the base tables. Now change the attunables so instead of having to place a new table every time you get one. You instead just add a page to the schematic so you can then choose which one you want to craft. There are currently more style stones than sets so it’s not out of the realm of impossibilities also considering that each table already has a list of all the furnishings you can craft.

    Multi-craft stations would be great.

The current work around is crafting mansions. You just don't decorate the house you want to use for crafting. You can go nuts on your primary residence because it will never have to be used for crafting and therefore you won't ever have to remove decorations to add that new set of craft tables. It's not very convenient and the craft house is definitely not aesthetically pleasing as it could be.

Yeah, it's a poorly thought out and implemented system. They should simply add availability to a single station - not require multiple stations.

There isn't enough space in housing as it is, even without flooding them with multiple stations.

Given their track record, I’d be afraid it gets messed up trying to combine them, with a lot of gold mats getting wasted due to a bug.

I like the idea of adding multiple sets to the same tables. It would he significantly better than filling the housing plot with a sea of crafting tables.

They need to increase the cap too. It’s been 3 years that we have had housing and they haven’t raised the cap on anything except trophies

This is intentional, I think. It might just be my tinfoil hat talking, but if you run out of room, you might be more inclined to get another house to decorate. Either spending more time grinding gold or outright spending real money to purchase and decorate it being the ultimate goal.

It would be great but probably a separate item at Zos priced the current tables with the idea that we would by multiple.

So there is the issue. Are you willing to start all over again if they did add a single table that you could attune to as many craftable sets as you desired and were willing to purchase a stone for it?

I think the real reason is rendering, @srfrogg23.

More furnishings makes it ever more difficult for the housing instance to render.

See while I agree to some degree I have never bought a new house because I needed more room. I bought it because it fit a theme that I wanted to create. To have these large homes that are unique and the challenge to make them each as badass as possible

I got an even better idea here.

There should be an "special" crafting station which allow you to craft all sets that are available in that house.

Note blacksmithing / can be replaced with clothworking, woodworking and jewelrworking stations.

You have attunable blacksmithing set 1, attunable blacksmithing Set 2 and attunable blacksmithing Set 3 stations in your house. You buy SPECIAL attunable Blacksmithing station. There you can simply select which set you would like to craft from the 3 above sets already available in that specific house, allowing you to craft all blacksmithing sets available in one place. Or it could contain up to a number of sets like 10 instead of 1. Writ price should rise accordingly for those stations.

Or you upgrade your special attunable blacksmithing station with individual attunable blacksmithing stations. thus instead of having 4 items you will only have one.

Extra. There should be a zone wide blacksmithing station where you may craft all craftable sets of that specific zone into one place. In order to do that you need to buy the ZONE blacksmithing station and it should be updated autmatically as you discover that specific zone crafting stations.

OR as you unlock a specific zone crafting stations, you should be able to craft those sets straight from the specific towns crafting stations.

Agreed. Make a large cool looking table that many people can gather around (not that I ever see anyone at the tables in the guild hall any time I have used it), and give them a pull down menu to select the armor type.

The sea of attunable crafting stations is an eye sore (and frankly a pain to navigate around even in a giant space).

I think you're missing the point. OP isn't suggesting that once you have an attunable station you have access to every set. You will still need to spend crowns/vouchers/gold to get EACH set, but the 1 furnishing table will provide the single user interface to craft it.

The simple solution would be to convert all attunable stations into a tuning praxis that gets stored in the house's inventory. When the player logs in after an update they'll have to withdraw them and go to each location to add the tuning to their table. Pain in the ass first up but so much more convenient then after and probably the safest way of doing it without it breaking

Pretty sure they are suggesting being able to have any is a luxury.

As to your follow up question, it would seem pretty obvious that Zos knew the limits of housing and the space/slots crafting stations would take up when they designed the system so it would seem that person is correct and that it is Zos' intention that it be limited.

I do find it odd you would reply to that comment with such a reply yet you clearly chose to ignore the question I posed yesterday.

In this case, if they did add such a thing they would make sure players paid the cost in spades compared to the current tables. Being you ignored the question about that I posed yesterday it seems you think Zos would just wave a wand and make it so your current stations could handle multiple sets and that is pretty much unlikely. Funny how you passed over such a question.

This is a fantastic idea! Maybe just keep the cost of each attunable upgrade (in the form of an attuning "stone" or something) the same and continue to allow it to be purchased from the writ vendor, just to keep things consistent. Visiting the crafting station and touching your stone to it would absorb the style so you can go back to your own single station and "imprint" it with the new style.

What if they had an increased cost. Starting with a table specific to being able to attune it to multiple sets that cost more than the current one, several times more. Then each set attuned doubled the cost over the previous one. First set required using one consumable item similar to the stones. The second set required two of the consumable items, etc.

Just thinking realistically of how such a change would be implemented Yes, I know it is more fun to fantasize that Zos would make this very easy and low cost.

My idea is to have crafting stations that have 5 or 10 sockets for attunable crystals. These stations would cost just a bit more than a regular station (since they aren't attuned by default), and each crystal would be a little bit less than a full attunable station. Just attune the crystal to the set you want (like is done now for the tunable stations) and then add it to the station. This wouldn't remove the clutter completely, but would reduce it substantially. Should be easy to script. Keeping the sets arranged would be a bit of a pain, though. Adding the ability to take out the crystal and move it to another station would be nice, but could be abused somehow.

I'd much prefer to have one crafting station at which I could create any housing item than have multiple sets available from the attunable stations.
