Just wanted to say I loved those hooks! It would be great to see these posts become available in more zones as it's a real kick to swoosh around Indiana Jones style and explore places. Excellent new toy.

But If I had grappling hook, I wouldn't have to walk, so win-win0 -

✭✭✭They were ok, IMHO.
Never been a fan of one trick ponies. Like in the original Star Trek series, One episode the Away team had to give a security code or they would not be beamed back to the ship. Of course, that was the only episode where that was an issue.
Would have liked to have had a bit more instruction. "Get the grappling hook" - OK, I got it. "Use the grappling hook" - Excuse me? Where do I point this thing? "Not telling you".

It was kind of a cool mechanic, which hopefully we'll see again. Certainly as a housing furnishing item; people could create fun playgrounds with it.0 -

✭✭✭✭It's an interesting and fun mechanic. Reminds me a lot of the grappling hook in Batman: Arkham Asylum, which is a great game.
Also remind me of the hook mechanic in Doom 3, when they went PvP. So it could be an awesome addition to gameplay if using it can be made fluid.
One challenge they will have... please don't make using it the Synergy key, it will make it really hard to use if you're on console or using a controller.

That's the problem with the GH. You have to locate THE specific post or its worthless.
You should be able to target the top of a wall or rock structure anywhere and have it work.
