A Clothing Store Idea.

There is a lot of clothes available via stealing. Here are some examples: Traveler's Boots, Layered Long Dress, and Side-Stitched Trousers. My idea is to have all of the clothing items available in a shop for sale for gold. It would be a good idea to add this to the inventory of the Tailors already in the game around Tamriel. Thoughts?

Yeah, those "civilian clothes" -definitely- ought to be an option for the outfit system...
...like, let us deconstruct them for a chance to learn the style for our outfit library! That would make them more valuable, meaning they could be more on an thing in guild stores and more of a "yay" for thieves stealing them...

I mean, we do already have the "prisoner" as "clothing" outfit options, don't we? Why not a couple more?

    Nah.
The outfit system needs piece by piece visuals, and the disguises are whole-set visuals.
    So...
Add them to the costume collction instead!

Just like the "Scarlet Judge" - when the accompaning quest is completed, remove the disguise item and add the visuals to the costume collection...
Should be easy enough to refit as well - after all, they dealt similarly with some other changes in the past...

That's fine, I would just like to be able to dye the disguise and remove helmets.

I'd love for tailors and blacksmiths to be able to make fashionable "crafting sets" for each of the professions. The sets could have unique perks:

Gathering - occasionally gather more ore, herbs, cloth, ore, fish (+5-to+10) per node
Alchemy and Provisioning - occasionally make more food/potions (+5 or +10) more
BS/Clothier/WW - occasionally HQ a piece of gear or weapon which could include an additional trait
Enchanting - occasionally create a glyph 1-2 aspects higher

There is an added benefit for those who think the overland content is too easy but don't want to run around in their underwear.

Come now. The day of reasonable crown prices is long gone. We both know such a thing will be 16$ or more for a pack, maaaaybe 5$ for a single outfit. But that’s wishful thinking.

No thank you I have no interest in having to pay real money to use a disguise that we can currently use for free. Not to mention having to pay gold to commit the disguise to an outfit slot.

    Sorry, but very bad idea.
    Really, idk

Agreed! Much better if they were costumes! I don’t mind taking up an inventory slot for characters that collect them, but having them as account-wide costumes that could be dyes would be cool! :)

While I understand why they are not costumes, It would be nice if they had a special section of collections for them. They cannot be the same as costumes because their special characteristic where they can and will be destroyed in certain circumstances. It is a database thing they have not thought through to remedy.
    Really, idk

Either way we need them out of our inventories.
