That's 10k free crowns. The amount of money that would cost ZOS is insane.
I respectfully disagree here. 10K crowns costs nothing to Zenimax. It's fake currency. Cost Zenimax nothing and if Zenimax puts in more crowns, there is no inflation and value of a crown goes down. So it doesn't matter. To give out that much or what ever amount is to get people on a monthly plan, or a more steady stream of revenue.
To @Avariprivateer how is this stopping gambling? It adds more to it. I thought this post was to eliminate crates. Having MORE random loot boxes doesn't end gambling practices, it's the same old same old, maybe even getting more people hooked who wouldn't have before.
I just say, make a great product and people will buy/pay for it. Since Zeinmax/Bethesda Online can't or won't make a great product and rely on gambling to make money, shame they work more on gambling than making a great awesome product.

Literally all you had to do was read my full post (not even the ones after, just the one you quoted), where I already address the point you make.... AND YET.
Sorry, I got overwhelmed and I didn't know I kept replying to you. I thought you were someone else. My apologies.

Your idea does nothing to end gambling practices unless ZoS simply quit selling crown crates. In fact it might make things worse for some people.
My apologies, I made revisions solving most of your concerns. A large portion of Store pets are just recolors or downsized NPC animals so it made sense for them to be no higher quality for free. I lowered the number of crates, the PvP island has been standardized, crowns have been adjusted, housing items have been adjusted, crown store discounts have been lowered. The rest I will ruminate upon.Avariprivateer wrote: »My inspiration was Core Crystals from Nintendo's Xenoblade Chronicles 2, which come with the game but a few extras come with the expansion pass. I do find it hilarious that Zo$ jumps to attention when somone wants to spend $100's of dollars with them. Over in the crown store thread..or was it housing...anyway, someone wanted a house that is no longer being sold. Its over 100 bucks and Zo$ made the exception for them.
But request a QOL feature for 4 years and silence. Request to get mail to work (bugged since beta) and silence. LOL. We can say one thing about them, at least they have the priority of making money over anything else straight.

ZoS has said they can't increase furniture limits. Even if they can they will not announce it then put it behind a paywall. That would cause a mass exodus from the game.
PvP would be damaged by adding a new zone as the zones we have are underpopulated already. I'm not sure what you mean by private editing for the upper tier subbing. If it is an exclusive instance of the zone that will again incite a riot and farther dilute the PvP population.
The problem with the pet is now it would be something they are paying for and they would need to put out a new one each month. After a month or two I doubt this would any longer be an incentive to pay the higher fee.
ZoS isn't going to give crowns and crates. At least not in the numbers listed here for the assumed price of subscribing. There is little incentive for them to do so.
I didn't mention it earlier but others have. Locking that skin behind a subscription would cause riots here in the forums and maybe even out in the streets. There would be some players who would be willing to subscribe for one month to get the skin but those same players (and more) would purchase it from the crown store if they could. ZoS makes more putting that item in the store rather than behind a sub.
Same with the title and pet. A few players may be willing to subscribe for one month if the pet was really nice. Other than that I doubt it would get much interest.
