HELP! PS4: hair stuck in quick slot!

I've no idea how it got into the quick slot but sure enough my hair is in it and I cant see a way to remove it! How can we edit this stupid wheel? I can do it easy on a mac but on the PS4 its so awkward and even when I have something I want in the slot it fails to function. everything I google comes up for PC/MAC.

    so I figured out I could assign something else to the slot to get the hair out. but this is still natty as I didnt want anything in the slot at all.

    Can you right click the quickslot and select "Remove"?

    You go to the hair in your collections menu, and press X (on XBox) to slot it, then back out. That'll unslot it.

    Well.... that's good then. I had no idea. As I don't do consoles, pretty obvious there.

    I didn't know either. I'm on PC, turned on the Controller interface and screwed around for a few minutes. I didn't swipe my significant other's PS4 controller to check what the buttons are on that, but the prompts are at the bottom of the screen.

    I played both on ps4 and pc (pc currently) and ps4 is quite limited to using quickslots. You cant empty it, only replace it with another.

    You can empty it. Just simply go in your Inventory or where the unwanted item is, press □Square and it will be pulled out of the Slot. Then press ○Circle to back out. And done. ;)

    cant right click using a PS4 controller. Defo not as easy to do things as it is on my computer. lol

    Agreed. But as the second post in this thread indicates I figured that out before anyone else responded. at the time of my initial posting however I was just freaked out that in combat my hairdo was on board with my combat actions. really ridiculously silly. Im also not used to PS4 having played for years on mac. OMG on a computer everything is so easy to figure out.

    Im sure all you veteran console players know what to do backwards and forwards but this old lady is new to the restrictions of controller verses keyboard. Even though my hands are less painful with a controller in my hand than a keyboard.

    I figure it never hurts to ask and some NICE person is gonna have an idea if I cant figure it out. Color me lame. With my cane in one hand you wont be wrong. lol

    Btw some of you had such funny responses to my initial "dilemma" you really gave me a chuckle. Now I have visions of a PS4 controller stuck to my head with gum. lol
