After the rewards were released, I was just as disappointed as I thought I'd likely be.

No lecture. No rant for you. The idea of the rewards not being enough is likely already a skeptical - if not discussed prior to even bringing the event into the game as it is. That's just how business works.

But, improve these event rewards to be a bit more fitting to the player. I literally have no interest or use for nearly any of the junk that was given to us and many others dont either. Obviously.

I dont care or concern myself with the community that dwells in forums. In game, players do not favor these useless rewards from time to time and they certainly dont disagree. These votes and opinions in here on a forum are not for my eyes, yet still dont even reserve a quarter of the games population..

The charity services are admirable and the upcoming bonuses toward XP Gains and The Prologue should be decent. Thank you for that atleast.

Then just don't claim them (or delete them if you have). It's not like they cost YOU anything.

There is a new target dummy and 3 crafting stations in the 10 boxes you receive!

Target looks super cool finally I can practise with my alt chars:)

Well, I for one was pleasantly surprised by the reward items looted from the pile of gold. I don't know what I thought they were going to look like, but the end result was much better than I had expected. And I was able to ship some items over to my main account from my 2nd account which I had not expected to be able to do. I was slightly bummed that I wasn't able to do that with the attunable crafting stations, but it makes sense that they were bound to the account - I'm sure they didn't want every player out there selling them.

I'm the first to go off on a rant when I feel it is necessary for whatever reason. I don't hold back when I think something is messed up. But part of doing that typically includes something about what would be better or where things went wrong and how to do better in the future. This is just confusing and unclear, and for some reason assuming that a large portion of the player base thinks that the rewards are garbage. From what I have seen, that is not the case at all.

So... we get a free pet, costume, furnishing collectable, 3 attunable crafting stations, a new target dummy along with some other various items/sets... and it's not enough?

Like many others, I think the rewards are awesome and will be enjoying them. You can choose to be unhappy about the free stuff if you want.
