Question About The Digital Upgrade Sale: only gives you Elsewyr?

prescott.lawaniub17_ESO
Hey everybody! Quick question. There is a sale for the ESO game where you can get Elsweyr, Summerset and Morrowind. But that's if you get the core, too. It looks like if you just want to upgrade the core you only get Elsweyr on sale. Is there a way to get all three if you already have the core? I'm asking for myself and my gf. I have the game from the ESO store and she has her's on steam.

Should work as long as you are logged in to buy the digital game even if you already have a copy. It appears to update what you have on the signed-in account.

I believe Morrowind and I think even summerset are now included as part of the base game. Check the crown store and see if you can purchase those for free or just accept the quest to start those chapters.

Remember she needs to buy her upgrade through steam store and you need to buy yours from the store otherwise they won't work. Not sure about your question though. But eso plus includes past chapters also. Not sure about warden class

I bought my base game (pre morrowind) and my husband's through steam and then bought my morrowind as well. Later on I found it cheaper to buy the base game again for my husband on Bethesda's site. It included Morrowind and Summerset and I then just registered it with Bethesda and linked it to Steam. It was cheaper than buying just the 2 Chapters separately on setam as Steam didn't offer Morrowind and Summerset as a combo. Check bethesda's site to see what packages they're offering. As an added bonus, I can now launch as well, directly with Zeni launcher when steam is down.

Yes, digital upgrade only gives you Elsweyr. I had some back and forth with support regarding this question few months ago and they confirmed that.

Summerset isn’t basegame yet, you have to buy the whole chapter. Morrowind isn’t basegame either, you have to rebuy the whole game again for it to be included in a standard purchase.

Aren't they both now DLCs, meaning you get them automatically while you subscribe? If so, you may not feel the need to buy them if you intend always to subscribe.

You won’t get access to Warden just subbing, they made that a separate purchase and then locked a unique group buff in the class.

Summerset grants full access to jewelry crafting and the zone, without the sub or chapter you can’t craft, research, upgrade, or decon any jewelry. Which should’ve been base game ages ago but hey, it’s ZO$

There is no option to buy all three chapters without the base game being included, if you want them then you're going to have to get the Elsweyr Standard Edition. Technically it's an upgrade so if you're worried it about it conflicting with your current base game, don't be. It will only add the new chapters.

If you feel like you're paying for the base game twice just think of it this way, you'll be getting all three chapters for the price of Summerset's Upgrade.

Standard Edition (base game) is $19.99
    Morrowind Upgrade was $39.99
    Summerset Upgrade was $29.99
    Elsweyr Upgrade is $39.99

Elsweyr Standard Edition which includes the base game, Morrowind, Summerset and Elsweyr is $59.99 and is on sale for $29.99.

Had you bought each upgrade when they came out you would have paid $109.97 on top of the $19.99 for base game making your total cost $129.36.
