Pirharri the forgotten assistant?

Before i start i know...many of you are going to tell me reasons why pirharri is good as she is atm but let me explain my point of view.
pirharri the smuggler is an assistant, you can get by finishing the thieves guild quest line.
Shes for free and meant for beeing able to sell stolen items at any place you want to...sounds pretty good but....if we take a closer look it doesnt look good at all.
so lets take this closer look^^
-pirharri isnt able to launder
-she cuts your profit by 35%,
- it still counts for the daily sales) c(r)ap
-AND u cant use her while having aggro...means if a guard attacks you while you cant escape you cant even use her to at least sell your loot...even if she cuts it by 35%

you think she is not that useless? oke then...in wich situtation would you use her?
would you use her because youre too lazy to walk to a refuge?-at many wayshrines theres a refuge like 10 meters away from it..
when you already have a bounty and youre afraid of getting attacked by a guard?-as long as you dont have aggro you can easily tp to a guildmate, to a way shrine or to you own house and just walk to a refuge..
because you dont care about stealing that much so its "nice to have" for you when you dont need to go to a refuge to "get rid" of stolen items instead of just destroying them?-if thats the only reason why you think shes good as she is atm then you dont need her at all and you can continue to destroy your stolen loot.

tbh in my opinion pirharri is nothing but useless as she is atm.
the idea is great but i really think she needs to be changed
i know shes for free but does that mean she needs to be useless?
she is for free so it would be kinda unfair if she would be as good as the bankier and merchant which still costs 5k crowns...but still there would be a few options tho
since this is a poll and not a flaming thread lets take a look at my ideas about pirharri so she would be usefull.
also feel free to tell me your thoughts about her and/or your ideas^^

• ditch her cap
• ditch her fee
• give her her own cap

I would pay crowns for these upgrades.

You already paid crowns to get her. As Yuffie said, don't give them more awful ideas.

I paid crowns for a DLC I like a lot. The awful fence was included. I would not have paid crowns for her alone, as she is now.

Or make a separate fence cap for her entirely. Cause yeah I don’t think anyone uses this, why spend an extra 35% time getting black market mogul when it already takes so long. Seems a little disappointing for what is the highest reward after beating all of thieves guild quest line.

She really needs that 35% cut removed to be considered viable at all. I never use her in spite of having her, and its really a disappointment. I don't see any reason why she should be handicapped by such a high cut, it completely negates the reason for her existence when a few counterfeit pardon edicts can solve any bounty problems you may have relatively swiftly and at a lower cost to yourself (especially if you are doing countess repeatables... that quest can become pure profit) you're literally shooting yourself in the leg by using her as she is. I feel those who have gone to the trouble of getting her definitely deserve to have her benefit them to a greater extent.

• Every item you fence/lauder with her increase the fee she takes by 1% capping at 95%
• Fee % resets after 24 hours

I only use her to level Legerdemain and decorate my homes.

With Legerdemain, a 1 gold item levels your skill the same as a 250 gold item does when you sell it. So, for that I use her. Otherwise, i never spawn her

I sell food items to her but keep the style stones

I might agree if she could also launder. As it is I find her basically useless.

Keep her as she is, but when placed in house - it should work as a regular fence, without any fee and with launder option.

I still don't understand why anyone use use her at all. She's worthless and it only takes a moment to port to any Outlaws Refuge to do business.

Just adding launder would made here much more useful, you pick up something expensive and have an bounty she would be very nice, if launder cost is 35% more is kind of irrelevant.

OP asks for a situation where she would be useful: If you get into a bind and do not want to take a chance on making it to a fence you can pull her out and fence your stuff.

Zos is not going to change her as she is fine as designed.

She's already useless because of the percentage that she takes. It literally defeats the purpose of it, when you can travel to somewhere like Sentinel, where's there's no nearby guards and the outlaw refuge is near the wayshrine. Also, if people are constantly being accosted by guards, use the footpad passive, or just get better at thieving to begin with. XD

Current version oft he assistant is only useful for LEVELING your Legerdemain skill line by selling stolen crap with intend to get +1 for each transaction. Thats all. She is designed to level up one of your skills.

The reason why devs gave her 35% is that:
1) she is mobile and you can call her everywhere from your pocket.
2) The initial balance assumption of danger and risk, that you can meet on your road to the Outlaws Refuge. But it is in theory, in reality that doesnt work absolutely. If you have a little bit brain (you have, dont worry) you can bypass stupid guards. Fortunately, they are not everywhere, have no 100m radars, etc...

And a little fact about Outlaws Refuge zones. They are special. You cant even fast travel to your team mate if he is there. Just think about it.

I use her to clear out inventory space if I don’t want to take the time to travel. Otherwise, she is a nice furnishing in some of my darker houses.

True, there is always a refuge near the wayshrine, but that means two loading screens for going in and out. Course, if I have several thousands gold in stolen items I go for the refuge, but for less Pirharri is the perfect choice.

I'd like she could launder, but other assistants have some handicap as well: the merchant can't repair, the banker can't sell in guilds' stores.

If I'm leveling the legerdemain skill tree, then I'll use her. When I'm power leveling alts, I move fast and I don't care about gold so it works great for that.

The OP provides all we need to know to conclude she should be left alone.

So it is a very minor inconvenience to go to a thieves den to get the best prices and the ability to launder. So minor that you would be crazy to even consider using her out and about. Until this...

Obviously getting some gold is better than getting no gold. It is just as easy to sell the stolen goods as it is to destroy them. If you find yourself in an instance where you can't leave or do not want to leave but stolen items are filling your bags it is great to be able to grab a few gold coins instead of your looting go to waste. Might as well not even steal anything if your plan is to just delete. If you want the full price it is as OP admitted a very small inconvenience to go to the thieves den for full price.

Leave it alone, we should pay some price for the convenience.

I use her all the time. The 35% cut doesn’t matter because I’m rich and it’s convenient. The only thing ZOS should do is allow others to use her.

Though, laundering would help. If you can’t ditch a few guards, there’s passives that will help in Thieves guild AND Dark Brotherhood. If anything ZOS should make guards killable. Let them keep the million HP; but when they hit ZERO, lay DOWN!

P.S. if nothing else get that one passive that lets you say “I’m sure it’s taken care of...”
