Why are all the arms packs staves facing the wrong direction ?

And why are they some cheesy heads on a stick? But facing inwards instead of away from my character is the worst!

I agree, there are so many cool staves that are wasted because they look stupid turned.

Plus they let us have just about every stave motif expect mannimarco and master inferno ( which these two in my opinion are the coolest of the bunch)
The staves in this game leave something to be desired!

So you can look directly at what you spent your money on and feel the deep burning shame and regret as it glares back at you.

JK, I like them - - indeed weird they're not facing away.

I want my toon to look the part not look dumb. Everyone else's weapon s look cool and original but the staves ( shields are a little small but eh) lack imagination if you ask me.
Where does the shrunk head come from if I have the monster helm on? What did they have, a mini me! I don't remember killing a mini boss replica!

Another pet peeve I have is staves that sit off-balance on your character's back. The biggest offenders are the Glass and Celestial styles, but there are a few others. They look like *** antennas with how far up they sit when sheathed. Your character also holds the end of the staff when blocking, which looks incredibly stupid.

Then there are the really long staves that clip into the ground when you are viewing them at an outfit station.

I'd love it if they went and fixed all of the staff issues. There are so many broken styles.

This is actually the very reason I've never spent crowns on one of the arms packs. There are also a few in-game styles I would love to use but it looks so stupid with the staff turned the wrong way in your hand I stick with something simple.

I wonder if it's because the back of a skull is presumably thicker and harder than the facial and jaw bones? I mean, if the face on the skull is facing toward whatever you're hitting with the staff (if it's being used like a cudgel), then you're hitting the target with the face and jaw, which might not do as much damage as hitting the target with the back of the skull.

Now, on the other hand, if you're using the staff like a wand to blast the target with magic, it might be cool to have beams of magical energy shooting out of the skull's eye sockets.
I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!

Wow. Never even occurred to me that people would want them facing away from there toon. Makes no sense to me, I(as my toon) want to be able to see the face of my defeated foe. Makes no sense to me to be looking at the back of the head, as the toon. Could someone please explain the rationale for that?

First off, I never play first person! Second, I don't want some janky , somewhat looking shrunken head in a stick as a staff. Three, you wear the heads as helms, get them for your house and now you also need them on your stick ( I guess ) the last three arms packs in a row.
Looks like lazy designing and if I don't get a choice then why inward? Looks rediculious not in first person ( just for you kaveman)
