Going through each of the dungeons for the first time! I enjoyed them and the voice (Molag Bal?) in ICP is creepy! It was fun and I got skill points, CP points, gear upgrades and tickets! :D

The only thing I liked was being able to get the soul shriven skin on the EU server for free.
I've farmed Molag Bal dozens of times and never got that skin to drop, even when the drops were doubled.

My favorite moment of the IC event was waiting for my guild history to load and not actually playing anything.

Another favorite moment of mine was getting killed in Wadracki's room this morning. It's a long story, so I'll condense it.

Got all the skyshards, so decided to try group bosses in other areas. Picked Wadracki in EP.

Went up ladder to Arena, then snuck to sewer.

By sewer, see an AD kill a DC. AD leaves, so I rez DC, then go down sewer.

Walk away from platform, turn, and see an EP standing on platform looking at me.

Look at each other for a few secs, neither draws weapon or rushes the other, so I slink away and drop into sneak.

Sneak to Wadracki and hide in corner to wait for spawn.

A different EP comes in and lurks by wall perpendicular to me.

MOBs spawn so the EP kills them, then leaps around.

Thinking, "Crud, he's gonna leap over here and see me," but he doesn't.

After waiting a bit, I think about whispering to him for a temp truce-- "We kill Wadracki together, then you can kill me if you want"-- but I couldn't see his name because of vines(?) blocking view.

MOBs spawn again, I catch his name while he's killing them again.

Just as I'm about to whisper him, a DC comes in and kills him. She sees me in corner, walks up and looks, then leaves.

Wadracki spawns, so I rush to him and start whacking away with my greatsword, but MOBs spawn behind me and kill me (I think), so Wadracki resets to full health.

A pair of EP run in and go after Wadracki. I notice that my screen has option to "Revive here (requires filled soul gem)," which AFAIK I've never seen in sewers, so I say, "What the hey," and revive there.

I run back to corner hoping to be left alone, but both EP and (I think) Wadracki come after me. I stand there without raising a weapon, hoping they'll get the message, but they take me out anyway.

I was surprised at how many seconds it took them to kill me-- that TV gear I'd bought must have helped-- but one EP was a werewolf who was clawing me like crazy.

After I'm dead again, I'm waiting to see if Wadracki's corpse glows (looting privileges), but no luck. While werewolf eats corpse, I spot his name-- same guy I was about to whisper before another DC killed him. Oh, well! B)

Actually thought about whispering after to apologize for other DC killing him, but wasn't sure how he'd take it.
I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!

Entering enemy sewers to collect shards, and actually making it in one go. Escaping, surviving or beating multiple enemies alone or in a gang that formed along the way. Having a low cp attack me while I tried to ignore him for half a minute, only to turn back and send the guy back to base. 20k+ telvar ticks for soloing an city boss.

Finally playing there in earnest, instead of running in for the crafting stations and running out immediately after, jumping at every little noise. Even completed the story quest with several characters, and now I understand the love for the Drake of Blades (though getting zerged down multiple times while on lowbie alts during the Nobles District part was definitely not awesome, unless I got credit for it after they finished the boss).

Ending up in the middle and killing the whatever of Molag Bal for the first time after I was waaaaay sidetracked on my way back to base. Got the scamp, but I got it for free from my guild last year so I gave it to my hubs.

Driving back those filthy platform campers. One EP group in particular spent hours at the DC platform. If they got pushed back they were back again in no time.

Getting attacked by someone while on a level 20ish magplar as I was trying to head back to base and in no mood for a fight. He kept attacking, and I kept healing and occasionally javelining him but otherwise not attacking. He got the hint and I went on my merry way.

I had few moments which I really liked, but not all of them were recorded :'( I will miss this event alot.

The very last fight I had during this year's event - it turned out to be one of the best fights I've had during the whole event :)

    https://youtu.be/B9jTK3xBiTw

I've decided to play for a little bit more on the last night of 2019 Imperial City anniversary event. I was randomly wandering districts and found the boss in the Arena. There was no other player activity, so I decided to aggro him and lure him into some secluded place to kill. On the entrance to arena building, I accidentally detected enemy player - he was crouched in the middle of the entrance, right on my pathway. I wasn't going to attack him, I even thought that he might want to run away or kill the boss with me... Unfortunately, he started attacking me (ignoring the boss).

If it wasn't for the fact that he tried to kill me while I was weakened by mobs, this would be one of good fair fights.
If the enemy was more experienced, I think he would have succeeded. I do not regret that I lost the boss - I got another nice memory and some more experience.

I'm so glad that I remembered to press the recording button not too late, or this unexpected meeting would be among many others I haven't recorded :( I can't make Nvidia Shadowplay to work (it simply doesn't start) so I use Open Broadcaster Software and have to manually start my recording. And I will have to find better bitrate settings for such videos - they are enought for my mount showcases, but not for such action videos.
    Where are the bro-romances?

I've accidentally met very nice enemy stamplar, but I didn't know if he wanted to be added to friends and I was too shy to ask :'( I hope we will meet again <3

There were many large groups in IC districts that evening, and I was often overrun by DC and EP enemies - so I had almost no good fights and was very angry.
After another encounter with red group, I respawned in a district, went to the flag and saw how AD players were chasing one EP stamplar. I followed them for some time, casually landing some attacks - but I was not sure if this templar was among the group earlier, so I was not really eager to zerg him down.
He killed at least one of AD, second AD either run away or also died - I don't know, I didn't follow them and stayed inside the building. The EP player returned then, and it's when this video starts :)
When that DC magplar charged into our duel, we immediately tried to focus him. After we died, EP player whispered me about how we got stomped, and we had nice converstaion afterwards. That blue group was ruining many fights that evening for him as well :( That's why we didn't need any time to think before declaring that DC our mutual enemy. Later we met again on the flag and had some interesting fight with DC players, while not attacking each other, but unfortunately I forgot to press Record button :s
I enjoyed them and the voice (Molag Bal?) in ICP is creepy!

It's the voice of Lord Warden, that big Grievous Twilight boss :)

The best part of the event was just the people watching.

The things inexperienced and weak players do are actually funny to watch.

Walking around the tunnels in permanent stealth on non NB's.
Dying to Molag Bals explosion, over and over again.
20 man groups, happily getting 300 telvar splits from kills and banking it through absolute fear at 2k stones.
    And so on..
    vMSA - Magplar - Xbox EU - 15/11/16
    578,000 - 36 Minutes 58 Seconds (Top 2 World?)

vMSA - Magplar - Xbox NA
    569,000 - 40 minutes (350CP, Non optimised runs)

WGT Vet hard mode no death speed run with the same group who’d smashed their brains out trying to do it the previous day.

All the practice and trying different tactics that didn’t quite work out paid off in spades the next day.

    Great feeling.

And on previous IC mayhem events, *** Mary Christmas, the ganker

I do that so I don't get surprised by a Coldharbour flag boss. Not sure what being a NB or not has to do with that.
