How are we going to get 5th and final indrik (the basic one)?

With feathers becoming collectible I can't save on feathers with bank and other characters

I have enough feathers to make a basic indrik right after i get the next feather, but during the last event of this quarter I will need to get tickets for the indrik pet

aka in Q4 I will basically need to make 23~ tickets per event so I can get 4 berries, the pet and 4 feathers to get the basic indrik, which is very hard to do even if possible

It was most likely changed because they offer tickets for crowns. With people (like me and yourself) planning ahead and storing feathers those like us were not purchasing tickets.

I highly dislike that they changed the feather collecting in the middle of last event.

I do believe they'll repeat this one so you will get a chance to get your mount reason is we had an chapter release in the middle of getting them and eso takes care of new players so they wont want to new players they just got leave over not getting an chance too

Theoretically you can now just keep collecting the appropriate berries and deprioritize the Nascent Indriks, I think.
The real problem is if you somehow have no more berries to buy, a Nascent Indrik unlocked, four feathers ready to make another Nascent Indrik, and nothing else you want in the impresario store.

Probably because of the exploit that gave people the Onyx for 1 berry. In any case they probably think it's a good change for saving us inventory space.

People love their mounts for some reason I will never understand. Even when I played wow I barely cared. I'm playing the game and it takes a lot of time, I just wanna get from point A to point B quickly and actually progress with the story or do some pvp. Who cares if I look like a bum riding a pig. I'm not 5 to pretend to be a flashy hero or villain. I'd rather spend the effort irl where time and what you get or achieve matters.

If you form your fourth Nascent Indrik as soon as possible and don't miss any tickets, you can still be grabbing feathers while collecting the berries for the fourth morph.

Most activities that gave tickets took ~5 minutes or less, the main issue is that only a few players log in every day to get them. ATM I have the first 2 indrik mounts with their respective companion pets, one nascent indrik, 2 feathers from the next and 3/4 berries for the 3rd indrik morphing, as well as 6 tickets on my account. It is theoretically possible for me to get a 5th nascent one. If the next event also lasts for 12 days with 2 tickets per day, I will get 24 tickets, which means I will be able to buy the last berry, the pet and the 3rd feather for the new nascent indrik. In Q4 every event I will buy 1 berry and 1 feather each event, and if I do things right I will also have 6 tickets extra when the last event starts, so I will be able to similarly buy the last berry, the pet and probably squeeze in the 4th feather for Nascent Indrik #5. IDK if that is even possible. The game may be barring you from buying any more feathers if you have 3 morphed indriks and a 4th nascent one.

I think if you want all 5 indriks you really need to be 1 'ahead', and that's getting harder to do because there's less time to catch up. So at this point you need a nascent ready to become the onyx indrik, and be collecting feathers for the next nascent alongside the berries. You might have to choose between getting the 5th adult indrik and the pet. (Or buy tickets, but that's expensive.)

I think I should just be able to make all 5 adult indriks in spite of missing numerous tickets through the year, but I've skipped all the pets except the dawnwood one and haven't bought anything else from the Impressario, because I prioritised the mounts. (I've got 3 onyx berries and tickets for the 4th, a nascent indrik ready to change and 2 feathers towards my next nascent. So I need 6 feathers and 4 berries - 100 tickets. With 5 events left to go and about 20 tickets per event that should just about work out.

Only thing I'm not sure about is New Life. I'm normally away a lot over Christmas so there's a good chance I'll miss most of the event (last year I was only able to get 8 tickets). Various events have thrown my usual plans into disarray so I have no idea what I'll be doing this year. I might miss even more time...or none at all. (And if I don't miss any then getting to play ESO will be the one tiny consolation in an otherwise disappointing Christmas.)

That's only going to be a problem for the next event though. We're getting close to the end of the process, at this point we can use a maximum of 3 sets of feathers (1 for the onyx, 1 for the snow, 1 for the nascent) and since it's possible to store 1 set as a nascent and 1 in the collection it's only the 3rd which is an issue. At the moment there's still time to earn those feathers, and from the end of the next event onwards everyone will only be able to use a maximum of 2 nascents, both of which will fit in the collections.

You make it sound like we couldn't do anything else all year. :D

It's a few minutes a day, for a week or two at a time, every few weeks. If you're playing ESO regularly anyway that's really not much to add into what you're doing anyway. I'm a very casual player, I get on for maybe an hour or two at a time and not every day. The biggest problem for me isn't the time required but the schedule - making sure I remember to log in and get tickets on the days they're available and keeping track of what I've done and need to do next.

But I like long-term goals in games (that's part of why I play long RPGs even though it takes me forever to finish them) so I'm ok with that. When I first saw the indriks (back when they were data mined and assumed to be crown store mounts) I really wanted the dawnwood and maybe the onyx or nascent. So when we found out how they were obtained I went into it with the goal of getting the dawnwood and then seeing what else I could manage (and I think I was very lucky that it was the first one available). I had no expectations that I'd get the full set and always said I'd skip an event if it involved stuff I really couldn't stand doing, but it was something to aim for while playing and so far none of the events have bothered me that much.

It depends on how careful you were about getting every event ticket out there before this. If you have a nascent right now, and you're working on Berries and Feathers for the Onyx, you should be fine. If you don't have a nascent right now, you're probably pretty close to screwed.

I know I"ll have all five on my main account, not sure if I'll be able to replace my nascent on my alt account.

EDIT: You can collect feathers while you have a nascent indrik. You just can't stockpile them.

If you collect all berries this year, next year you can collect only feathers to create all the needed Indriks to morph, and then some.

Are we assuming they will no longer provide neither feathers nor berries next year? What about new players? What about those with only 1 or 2 green/ yellow berries? I think this Indrik deal is a yearly cycle and in January we'll be seeing the green berries coming back. With them, all feathers and the possibility of collecting as many Nascent Indriks as one can possibly want. For those of us with every Indrik collected, we'll probably have extra things like furnishings and collectibles to spend our tickets on. Maybe even a new Indrik.2 mount to gather in ticket-traded pieces. One limb at a time. Who knows?

Have they mentioned anywhere that they're removing Indrik feathers/berries next year? I don't think so. It would make zero sense.

Earlier this year they indicated that they wouldn't be bringing back the feathers and berries, but who knows. They never said anything definite about it, so we don't know. I think they were being vague on purpose hoping people would spend real money buying the event tickets. But right now it looks like neither the feather nor berries will return next year, unless they make an announcement to the contrary.

If this is true then it's a big middle finger in the face of those who only managed to get some of the berries this year. A really big one. With capital M.
