How cool would a cross save like what Destiny 2 implemented be?

DaedricPegasus
I think it would be amazing if they could implement a cross save into this game like Destiny 2 did. It would allow us to play with friends from all platforms, unite the community, and bring new life into the game. Anyone think they would/could ever do it?

Very cool. I got friends that could not afford the PC version but have an Xbox one. I have 200+ days played and 1200+ cp I don't want to regrind. Would be great.

But could they? Probably not. Would they if they could? Maybe.

Yea, it’d be cool. I played the beta but wasn’t able to use a gamepad on the PC version at launch, so I waited a year for the Xbox version. Played it for a year then came to pc. Would love my old friends being able to come play with me on pc now.

    Nah

No no pass on that lol! I mean be able to play on the same ESO account across all three platforms. Destiny 2 implemented that recently to where we can use the same characters across PC, Xbox One, and PS4.

I agree 100%. But the servers already have a lot of issues so I doubt it as well. One can always hope though :)

If they were to do this they would have to disable the ability for PC users to use add-ons.

At this point I kinda doubt it is even possible. Multiple players with the same character names would be just the start of a whole lotta different issues.

Add ons would have nothing to do with cross SAVE.

Due to the way that the Mega Servers are set up this one doubts that cross save is a possibility.

My post was more directed to the one server comment.

There would still be all kinds of problems with just a cross save that more than likely makes it not worth attempting.

And now that I think about it yes they would need to disable add-ons. Add-ons are a big part of the reason prices are lower on PC than on consoles. Players that can jump from platform to platform would have a huge advantage over players that are limited to only one. Make use of add-ons on PC, jump over to console and take advantage of players that can't make that leap.

In one server I agree! But in regards to cross save not necessarily! I mean I could be wrong, but I think the game economy of each system would drop to be very similar of each other, because then many of the vendors would grind whatever they're selling on PC because it's easier, and then go sell it on console too. It would make console-only vendors have to compete with the cheaper prices!

On second thought just bring add-ons to console too xD Make it like Skyrim console mods in the main menu

The console only vendors can't compete with the prices. It takes them much longer to get the goods. Not a good gold to time spent return.
