This game would truly be great if only it had a local solo play version sans online access.

I think there are plenty of things you could do in a game like this, without needing to be online, so I said "mostly agree".

I don't know if combining progress in offline and online versions of a game is possible, though?

If it is, why not, I guess?

Why don't you just play a much better single player RPG instead? There are dozens of fantastic single player RPGs out there (including the mainline TES games).

ESO is good for an MMO. It's not good compared to AAA single player RPGs.

I thought he was suggesting us being able to do things in the game while either we, or the game, are offline?

Not saying he wants an offline version, because it would make a better single player game than most existing ones.

Would be nice to explore a delve where things didn't die as soon as you looked at them because 3 other random people just dumped all their skills on them. It's bad enough that the game is braindead easy.

What, so you can farm mats while offline or use cheats to beat vma, trials, etc? See the issues?

All players who like to play alone and do quests should look for another game, their presence here is useless and when they venture to make veteran dungeons they are even more useless.

Imagine wanting to interact with other players in 2019.

"B-but is mmo, we group n plei"
Meanwhile overland is completely full of solo players that group for 2 minutes to kill a WB or a dolmen in a 2 person group.

The presence of those who would spit upon others who have different priorities and values is significantly more useless, especially considering their opinion is about as impactful as a fart against a hurricane. All the players who like to play alone and do quests will continue to play this game whether you like it or not.
I play ESO on XBOX NA

so u made a pool that doesnt have the "no" voting option?...I think u clicked on the wrong game shortcut...u are looking for Skyrim.exe

people want this game to be like an ES game and I see the reasoning, telling them to go play skyrim while many of them have 1000's of hours in the game is ridiculous, people want fresh content so saying "go play skyrim, oblivion, morrowind" isn't really a valid point. the people who want this offline are more than likely the people who have already seen everything the single player games have to offer many times over.
