The class already has bad conditional sustain. But in the scale breaker patch several low cost skills that aren’t easy to land to begin with got a cost increase such as burning embers (810 cost increase), ash cloud (1080 cost increase), and engulfing flames (108 cost increase). Skills like ash cloud need a total rework at this point, it’s a small to mid sized aoe, lackluster damage, lackluster healing, and ridiculous cost. How does skill changes like these come out past the idea stage of combat balancing.
This gives me the notion that Zos only has only 1-3 people making ideas and changes for combat balance, if ideas such as these are making it this far onto the live game.
