Should there be more abilities that use Health as the resource pool.

Do you feel there should be more abilities that draw from Health as their primary resource pool? The benefits being build diversity and utility. While the cons being less choices for Stamina and Magicka specs. Poll options are pretty self explanatory.
PvP needs more love.

    No, not if that means fewer choices for magicka and stamina because I can’t see favoring such options myself. I’m all for there being more options, but never for losing ones I use, or that really isn’t more options, only different, and a worse selection from my perspective.

    Fair enough, I feel many people will share similar views to your own. I did not go into detail about what abilities would be changed or how they would alter the current skill system because I wanted the voters to decided on that themselves.

    I don't see how it would create build diversity and utility under current gameplay mechanics.

    Thing is, as long as skills and light attacks scale off of max magicka/stamina, along with a lot of other benefits from having large stam/magicka pools, there isn't any reason for DD builds to use those skills that are changed to use and scale from health. In reality, those skills would likely be ignored by most builds.

    It might create a little more build diversity and utility for tanks, since they are the only builds that really benefit from stacking up to a certain amount of health.

    Even there, you wind up with issues. The last time a powerful tanking ability scaled with health, high health DKs used igneous shield to let their groups cheese high level content. It got nerfed, real quick.

    So far, all the health costing abilities we have are well done, and I enjoy using Balance, Sanguine's Altar, and Hexproof for example. Wouldn't mind seeing more of them as long as they're as unique and potent as the ones we currently have. New health costing abilities might fit in the Vampire skill line or Sorc's Dark Magic skill line I think.

    You could argue that all the existing ones already do so, as they operate in combat, which drains your health. Sacrificing more may be appropriate in a few cases, but not as many as for magicka or stamina.

    Also, we don't want trials groups recruiting suicide bombers.
