What if you could slide on ice?
Back in the day there were two ‘Ultima Underworld’ computer games that were precursors to Elder Scrolls Arena. But they had slipper ice, and I’ve never come across it in a computer game since. And the first time you encountered it took you by surprise, as you floundered to stop sliding. it also took time to learn how to master your slides, and move on the ice.
So imagine fighting on ice?
Or seeing those Loons who rush through Delves suddenly sliding uncontrollably to smack into a wall or better yet a monster.
If it could be done on a game which came on 3 ½ inch floppy disks and ran on a 483 computer with diddlysquat processing power or memory it must be achievable.
You could even create a passive skill to allow you to control slides or skate.
So .. Ice … Ice … Maybe …
