Why is my imperial so small?

Maxed out the height on my male imperial but he still seems really tiny compared to other races (except maybe bosmer)...are imperials considered to be so small?
And what the hell about Chevalier Renald who is supposed to be an imperial and is easily more than 1 head taller than my max height imperial???
This is really impacting my imperial tanks self esteam...

Imperials are the same height as Bretons IIRC... the shortest of the human (and half-elven, so to say) race in ESO.

As I understand it Chevalier Renald is meant to be a creature of mystery. His dialogue in Moongrave Fane, and Tharn's recently published letters to Clivia, make it clear that Renald isn't exactly an Imperial, or a mortal, or really "Chevalier Renald".

If Chevalier Renald is a head taller than the tallest Imperial this is just another pointer to his mysterious nature. Well spotted

Mje… I never really noticed and height is one thing I hardly touch when making a new character. But then some templar stood next to me, and she said 'why are you so small?'. My self-esteem has never recovered from that….

I heard magicka is only for those who don't have the stamina to sustain their Imperial for long.

The blue colour kind of gives it away.

There are 4 Human races in game. Breton, Imperial, Redguard and Nords. Only Nords are taller than the other 3.
I do not see where the issue is as humans go.

Which means Chevalier Renald probably had some Nord ancestor

Npcs have sliders not accessible to the player. It’s why everyone looks like a child next to Lyris Titanborn. No Nord player character can match her height.
Also yes Imperials are not known for being any taller than Bretons and Redguards.

In this game, All humans are same.

That's because Lyris isn't just Nord. Lyris is half Nord and half giant. Have you done the main quest yet? :P

Breton. dunmer and Imperials have the same height, which puts them above a couple of races and only nords, high elves and orcs can be taller than them. That's not really short. Nords, altmer and orcs are known for being all tall and imposing compared the other races.

To be honest, most of the races are around the same height in game. Bretons, imperials, redguards, dunmer, khajiit and argonians are very close to eachother. So if you truly want to see short, make a bosmer. Who are alone at being the shortest race.
