Vanilla Eso for veterans/pvp

Its about that time! As this game deteriorates with every patch and the quality of pvp as a whole, If Eso could some how bring a pvp campaign out thus cycling through all the most iconic patch's they've had in the past thus reverting abilities and classes to their former state in those patches, for example if you had a month campaign and it cycled weekly through the most demanded patches like 1.6, one tamerial, morrowind etc
lets be real the game isnt getting better for pvper's and this idea i have not the slightest doubt it would revitalize pvp and bring back so many veterans included!
i'm pretty sure this would be relative to the wow approach in some aspects. A campaign for veterans should be considered thought!

have we had a better pvp game in the original state of this game and all the patches prior to two years ago, yes!

thought I was mis-reading the change to power surge...hard to believe a sorcerer without a class skill for major sorcerery...what am i, a magplar now...

@essi2 oh because its all about the money and pushing undesired content on the population, meanwhile that content is driving hordes of players away! rather then listen to the people that make their game and have been here from the start. logic!

just imagine, if they implemented a campaign in game pvp, of this nature that could revert to these patches. you would never hear veterans complain about balance again! they could literally do whatever they want in the game in real time and we could live in a campaign we're nostalgia for!

It's not like the game was better at launch, except for performance.

I'd rather have the devs focusing on performance than bringing back the past.

Really miss the days when Mag Nightblade was awesome as a bomb in PVP.

Vicious Death + Soul Tether + Proximity det prior to nerf. Squishy as hell but if you were lucky you could really hurt a zerg group and cloak away.

Even when on the other end of mag bombs it was good fun, leader would speak up in discord "5 feet apart everyone and hold block" You had to be on your guard, it added some excitement.

Then there was mag sorc. Sure streak was nerfed at the time but frags still stunned, flame reach still stunned, pets were powerful. 50+ k magika and 14k sheilds were a thing. Pets are aids, but loved playing sorc at that time for good burst potential, almost on par with mage blades but could tank more damage. Which makes sense as a light armor player that has no ability to cloak spam, the sheilds were the strong part.

Now both Mag Sorc and Mag Nightblade are just shadows of their former selves. Their skills stripped away and nerfed into oblivion while generic dots available to all classes have been prioritized and buffed to unreasonable levels.

1 step forward, 2 steps back dev team, and what about this server performance. As if we trust you to keep your word on that after all this time.

@Vildebill the game was 100% better in pvp launch for sorcerer nb and mgk dk's and the closest to launch i can remember in my time was 1.6.
also you just admitted to performance being better
while asking them to fix performance as it's worse than those patches!

Haha no it was not, magDK was so overpowered that it was ridiculous. Balance was bad.

Yes, I said performance was better. Not balance. And I want the to fix the performance. Not bringing back som old crap going back in time. How is that counter productive?

But I guess some people will always think that it was better before...

Classes are merely obsolete in 2019 eso for solo play and small group play vs how they use to perform in the past in pvp standard! this is what i care about!

@Billdor nah the only thing that is pathetic is the game and people that are complacent and justify it, or advocate that it's better! when in reality every veteran that was actually good in pvp in those previous patches know the game was 100% healthier in pvp!

So it would be dumb trying to bring back a game that streamers in its origins helped build, and every veteran wants and holds nostalgia for in terms of pvp?

evaluating from a business perspective, which is that of seeking influence to sell their product!
it wouldn't make more sense to implement features that could possibly bring
back prominent streamers such as Sypher and king Richard. These two streamers are notable in making this game for what it was!
Rather than having sumbitg1 and shroud play and promote your game for 1 day?
ironically i wonder why that happened especially right before eleweyr!
meanwhile they chase this hypothetical vision of subjective balance which really is just stepping on the feet of good veteran players at this point and destroying skill gaps left and right!
we know the past was better, and what pvp was and who helped promote it, ill take that any day over present!
