Current state about dots and eclipse in PvP

Currently dots are offering too much damage with too little effort in pvp. you can basically apply them and go afk while you watch your enemy die. When you play solo this becomes even more of an issue. Pre this patch you use line of sight to try mitigating damage. This ain't possible anymore since the dots will keep on ticking while you run around line of sighting. there is no heal or defensive mechanic that are gonna help you against 10+ different dots stacked on you. With all this free damage applied to you, normal skills and light attacks will come on top.

This is simply not a healthy gamemechanic when you can simply just keep dots up and kill your target in pvp. There is no need to time your burst combo or anything anymore, just stack the dots and kill.

Another big boss that has came to life this patch is the reworked eclipse. This skill can no longer be broken. You are just gonna have to take the skill and get rooted, snared and cc'ed without beeing able to do anything about it. you cant wait it out either since there is no cooldown on the ability, it can simply be reapplied.

Wow I must be exhausted. I read "dots and ellipses". I wondered what punctuation had to do with pvp. *sigh*

I was against these dots but you sold me on them by say saying that line of sighting is no longer as effective.

Line of sighting is the stupidist thing in the game. We have fantasy characters with magic and massive two handed weapons and their best defence is to run circles around a rock or a tree. Imagine a scene like that in a movie. Jesus christ.
