Refine all temper drop rate

With the new update I had been saving raw materials to refine all at once to save some time. What I have noticed is that the temper drop rate for the refine all is atrocious. Before the update, I was getting a gold temper at least once every 200 raw materials refined. With the refine all, a stack of 1.2k returned 2 gold tempers, a stack of 600, returned one, and a stack of 400 returned 0. The other tier tempers have a huge reduction as well. Has anyone else noticed this?

I found that there is actually a maximum number of refines that can be done at once - you do a total of 1000 refines at a time (10,000 raw mats refined). When doing maximum stacks of 1000 refines, I was getting about 50 golds per stack (lowest I got from a full stack was 42, the highest I got was 56). That works out to a %0.5 drop rate, which is the same drop rate as getting 1 gold per 200 raw mats.

Edit to add: that's based on doing 6 full stacks of 1000 refines (well, actually 5 full stacks of 1000 refines and 1 almost full stack of 880ish refines), so it's still not a huge sample size.

I can see them nerfing the refining drop rate simply to up the cost of doing business. Prices have been steadily dropping.

    It's a buyers market atm.

All these events have flooded the market with mats, furnishings and motifs—which used to be good earners—things have never been cheaper.

I tend to refine over 10k raw matts in one batch and have always been pretty close to the known drop rates. I have not refined anything today.
    Really, idk

I knew I had a small sample size when I originally posted, so I tried refining more stacks and in different quantities. I was never able to get a gold temper when refining less than 200 raw materials at a time after many attempts. Between 200 and 1k, the drop rate seems kind of low. However, once I started refining more than 1k raw materials at a time, the drop rate seems to be more normal. I suppose my first time through was simply bad RNG with the 1.2k stack.
Thank you for the feedback everyone.
