I died when picking up the ball and when I resurrected I still had the ball

So basicly that I died just in the moment of picking up the ball and when I respawned I still had the ball, ball bearer was counting the ball sort of disapered it was not doing damage, I do not know of other effects the other team seemed to not know where the ball was because they were not coming after me.
