ZOS skipping midyear mayhem, can we still buy gold jewels please?

It has been stated that this years midyear mayhem is being skipped. I decided to save my AP last season because I figured I would be able to purchase the gold PvP jewelry this time around. If we are missing midyear mayhem ZOS would you please give us an opportunity to buy the gold jewelry?

It wasn't really skipped, I think it was held in January? It was beginning of the year mayhem.

When they did the one in January it was to be an event that they added so we could work towards the mounts and getting feathers and berries. They stated that it was an additional event. But as time has passed and the performance has gotten a lot worse they decided to not have the July event

This, exactly. The January version was dubbed an "Encore" event, and they explicitly said at the time that they still intended to hold Midyear Mayhem as usual later in the year. Sad to see it was cancelled, although they really must address performance in general in addition to the BG queue rewrite.

They're re-releasing the Tsaesci motif this month regardless, which iirc was originally available during MM, so hopefully they'll consider doing the special golden vendor weekends as well.

Edit: because "summer" is subjective.
