Imperial City still needs a lot of work

Here is some suggestions i have to increase the popularity and convenience of Imperial City AvA zone; short disclaimer i have been playing IC since it came out and my major source of gold is selling telvar items etc.

Mobs in the city zone should be neutral,unless you attack them they shouldn't pursue you throught out the city and ranged mobs shouldn't attack you from walls either.This would be a great convenience change since navigating the city on foot or chasing enemy players is just plain out annoying due to mobs getting in the way or not letting you get out of combat etc.

Make zone bosses harder to kill.Basically they can be easily soloed at the moment,and you can easily disengage the fight when you see enemy players aswell.This doesn't feel risky enough for the concept of IC entirely,its all more risk more reward.They should also deal more damage in my opinion and chase the last player attacked it.

You can at the moment bail out of IC easily by queue to a PvP campaign,even while fighting.When i chase someone with obviously lots of telvar on them,they just queue to a campaign and kite me while waiting on it,and if you choose a low pop campaign its instant anyway.this is an abusive method and you don't even need to use sigils with this tactic existing anyway.

Flipping zone flags should be faster,but with a cooldown.Once you flip a flag for your alliance,you shouldn't be allowed to flip another in a designated time period.So it actually takes effort to stack up the telvar bonus from flags,and makes it so that is protected for at least a small window.Because even if you dominate the PvP aspect of flipping flags some no job guy can flip them back once you leave a zone.It just feels real cheap to me.

Respawn on a zone your alliance owns should also have a cooldown.Right now as long as you got the flag you can just basically spam your body to enemy and annoy the *** out of them.This ain't fun to play agaisnt,i don't feel anything but annoyance when someone i have beaten comes for the second round before i regen my resources lol.

For sewers,there should be more rewards for navigating sewers.It used to be quite good for griding XP but there are better places right now for it,and city section is better for farming telvar.Sewers doesn't have many options going for it, and Molag fight itself isnt very rewarding either.I have been farming Molag since Orsinium came out,and i only had 2 drops for the skin,one before it wasnt a runebox and one after.

Im open to discussion about my points and ideas,but please have some insights on the issue beforehand.I love IC and want to see more activity on it,but people 'saying telvar is risk/reward anyway why you cry pleb' has obviously no idea what is it like.

    I agree with the ad's being neutral and more rewards in the sewers. Not sure about the rest but yeh, some good changes to make it more popular down there would be very welcomed.

    1. IC sets are not in demand, revisit them
    2. Make player losing 25%TV on death
    3. Make IC Boss hit harder and drop some good stuff
    4. Buff Sewers reward, currently its very low comparing City

    Recently I've been spending most of my game time inside IC, farming telvar. I could not agreemore with your suggestions. I also like the idea of @Lord_Eomer for editing IC sets. In general, IC needs to be tweaked cause it can be really fun to play in.

    IC set tweaks would go far in making the zones popular.

    Or add to what you can purchase with tel var.

    Definitely HUGE agree on people queuing out of IC being a huge problem.

    Once you are in the city the only ways out should be Home sewer exit, WGT or ICP.

    Some of this does not make sense. OP wants more rewards but less risk. Specifically states more rewards for navigating sewards but less risk because all NPCs will be neutral.

    I am not suggesting IC stay exactly as it is, but the enticement should be to get more into IC. I guess making it easier and greater rewards will get more down there but that seems backwards.

    risk is losing half of your telvar when killed by an enemy,right now considering the population of IC its just farming telvar.even if you get into a fight you can just bail out no problem.You pick a time period that IC is basically a ghost town to easily farm 200-300k telvar.when you hop on IC as a solo player,and you see 2-3 people with imperial physique you just zerg em or get out because its impossible to kill those guys on smallscale pvp.IC needs a LOT of tweaking to work properly and became a fan favourite dlc.

    I agree with you on all points but the above... I do agree that the queue thing should be fixed (though I admit I use it frequently :P), but doesn't doing that make you MORE vulnerable? It takes a bit of time to get queued in, and then porting to the campaign also takes time. Does a player become invulnerable when they start to port, or am I missing something?

    All of this is why IC isn't more popular. Most of the people I know don't PvP and why would we want to go to there? I have only been in the zone two times, and I have been here since the beginning. Want IC to be more popular? Do away with forced PvP in zone and let people choose via the duel system if they want to do it.

    jumping up a campaign is instant since you choose a low pop campaign to do it

    1) Add gold tempers to the Tel Var store.

    2) Add new armor/weapon/jewelry sets every quarter.

    Do these two things and IC will always be busy.

    I agree that IC should be improved but honestly it’s a bit too late as I don’t believe the zone will become popular again. The best thing they could do right now is improve performance and Cyrodiil.
