Good PvE sets for Magplar?

Just looking for some feedback from experienced players as to which gear set I should spend time grinding for. I plan on doing trials and dungeons mainly and rarely PvP.

Kidding, if you are a sustain race, Siroria and Mothers Sorrow, if you are a DPS race, False God and Mother's Sorrow. If you are a lizard, go naked and let the Hist work it's magic through you.

As a Breton you’ll want to get sororia, mother’s sorrow, spell strategist and master architect. Combo spell strat with sororia or master architect. Or Mother’s sorrow and sororia. False God’s is good, but not spectacular on a Breton. Too much sustain (if there is such a thing) not enough damage. It’s great for high elf though.

For most content I run Master Architect/Spell Strategist + Mother's Sorrow+ Slimecraw . I switch to ZAAN depending on the trial.

Why aren't you getting Minor Berserk from your healers?

Craftable-set wise, Julianos is still solid to pair with other sets.

2x Monster, 5x Sorrow/5x Spell Strat/Maelstrom Inferno

Traits-wise, Precise frontbar (or Infused front bar depending on your crit rating based on your choice)

Mundus Stone: Shadow typically for Trials.
Food: Bloody Mara (as you can easily sustain this with a Breton)

Most people have covered all the good sets.

I tend to run Spell Strat (jewelry/front bar) + Perfected Siroria as the main sets. If I'm needed to run MA (usually only 1 or 2 per trial will run this, not everyone) then I'll swap Siroria for MA. You obviously don't want to run MA + Siroria together if you can help it, as you're just wasting a buff as both give Minor Slayer. If it's a lot of trash adds that you need to kill, then maybe swap Mothers Sorrow for Spell Strat.

If you can't get to any of those sets, then regular Siroria is pretty easy to get (if you have Summerset) and Julianos.

for mobile/smaller group content [dungeons, arenas, mini-trials] i prefer to run Master Architect and Mother's Sorrow. For stationary content, replace MA with with Siroria [main trials]. As for monster sets, Zaan is the strongest choice for everything except for ranged combat where you use 2 spell crit pieces [ ie zaans + slimecraw, iceheart + slimecraw etc]
