Baandari Pedlar Crate and Pack Pets

Hey everyone,

Some people may know that recently the community got a free "Baandari Pedlar Preview Crate" as a daily log in reward. This crate dropped a guaranteed rare item and a lot of people got "Pedlar Pack x Pets". The "x" represents different kinds of pets such as "Senche", "Wolf", "Spider" and so on.

Anyways these pets got taken out of the loot table for the full release of "Baandari Pedlar Crates" and a lot of people who missed out on their preview crate or got a different pet to their liking wanted/did buy the full release crates to get those pets.

ZOS/ESO didnt state (to my knowledge or anything I can find on google/the forums) that these pets would be taken out of the full release crates. So a lot of people wasted crowns or in game gold buying crates from other players in search of these pets. Later they (me included) would find out that the preview crate gave these pets and NOT the full release crate.

Anyways as one of those suckers I made a video on this and I thought I would share it with you all.

So anyways.. can we please finally get a response to why these pets got included into a preview crate but not the actual crate?.. and why did ZOS/ESO not make more of a effort to inform us that the loot table would be changed since it would be understandable to think the loot in the "preview" crate would be the same or be included in the full release crate of said preview. Also can we get any information on if these pets will return and in what capacity?

As a side note. The ESO support team has been great for me in the past and even gave me back 2.1M gold that I essentially deleted. I am very aware they could of told me it was gone for ever and I am grateful for the support I have gained in the past from them. As another side note I apologies if this has already been addressed by the ZOS/ESO staff and if it has can I please be directed to that information.

I agree that the pets should have been included in the full release of the crates. I got lucky and got the senche (it's adorable!).

I got the spider, which I hate and will never use. Had the Crown crates carried the possibility of getting the pack wolf, senche, or horse, etc... I would actually be tempted to spend Crowns on the gamble boxes.

Otherwise, nah.

Sorry to hear about your disappointment, and I agree, the pets should have been in the normal Crown Crates too. Calling it a 'Baandari Preview Crate' with 'select items' was incredibly misleading, they should have called it the 'Baandari Pet Crate' with 'pets inspired by the upcoming Baandari Crown Crates.'

That said, the contents of the Crates are no secret, the Crown Crate subsection of the Crown Store has their rewards listed by tiers for direct crown gem purchase, and you can Right Click on the crates themselves in the Crown Store and preview their contents (which shows the un-purchasable Radiant Apex Rewards as well).

Also, I'm curious how exactly someone just 'essentially deletes 2.1m gold' Sounds like there's a good story there.

Hey I made a video of it on my channel. If you ever get bored enough and curious enough to watch haha. I have a few funny gold stories like the day I could of stole 1.4M worth of wax from someone haha.

Zos had them put down to fix the lag, that is at least their logic towards fixing the current game's state.

Seems like a perfect thing to add to say maybe the crown store. Or maybe given as an achievement for the completing the new chapter. Letting you decide which one you one you would want.

It isn't like they can't just add anything to the crown store, it is the only thing that works in the game smoothly.

Maybe it's just me but I always check the full Crown Crate menu before buying Crates, because I like to know what is in the drop list... and what is not.

We should have gotten the option to choose a pet to our liking and give an option to buy the others, I luckily got the one I wanted but know a lot of people that got a pet they didn't like.

Put the pets in crown store already. New "preview" crates have already been datamined for next season. We have like 10 threads going around now with disappointed people who were in effect locked out of getting the pets they wanted since theyre not even for sale anywhere. Dont you realise this is a STUPID way to hand out these pets. Put them up for sale as well, and everyone would be happy. @ZOS_SarahHecker @ZOS_GinaBruno

False advertising is illegal.

Complain to your country's consumer watchdog.

Watchdogs typically don't pursue every complaint but ESO being a big company and the facts of the case being nice and indisputable, they might.
