Really mag sorc didn't get buffed in PvP this patch but whatever if you keep dying to mag sorc maybe you can get devs to nerf more.

their shields got buffed (somewhat big buff)
their pets deal less damage (somewhat small nerf)
streak made into unblockable/undodgeable stun (strong buff)
plus if I read it right and understood what they meant, they are giving magsorc a HoT now? so with pets they'll have both burst heals and HoT? real cool sounds like magsorc got buffed some more0 -

Have you played sorc on pts - do you understand what the shield changes this patch mean? There´s atleast 3 magica classes i´d pick before picking sorc next patch - not going into the stam vs mag debate.<Noricum>

Lol. Streak is barely viable as a stun. And any good player is breaking free before you even have a chance to turn back around and continue attacking your target. And that doesn't even cover the fact that streak is one of the buggiest skills in the game and it increases cost on use. Plus, if you are in range to stun someone with streak, you are already too close to you opponent on a mag sorc. The only thing streak is good for is to land meteor. But you still have to be close range to make it work. You know, close range like the other unblockable stuns fear and petrify, that those mag classes can use to land unblockable burst that is far more reliable because it doesn't put them behind their targets facing in the opposite direction.3 -

Sorcs have always had a "HoT" via crit/power surge on crits.
They are saying they intend to change it so sorc has another way to heal allies... which is very much needed for healsorc.Edited by RogueShark on July 22, 2019 4:29PMPC NA

If you let a magsorc pull of their combo like that, then you deserve to get rekt. That's how risk-reward gameplay work, if you can chain 7 different skills together for a combo, you deserve to rekt ppl.3 -
