GeForce Experience: ESO Performance Killer

Aorus 2080ti Extreme
i9 9900k

When I allow GeForce Experience to optimize ESO, it sets optimal at max settings, this drops my frame rates to around 20-25 fps. When I move the slider down two notches, the frame rate is fine, around 60-100 fps at 3440x11440. Unfortunately, GeForce experience later automatically boosts the setting back up to max. I cant seem to stop it from doing this. I guess I will have to hide ESO Elswyer to keep it from doing it

Just mark the option "don't auto optimize games". And play with settings you want.

@blackweb do you use votan advanced setting addon to get maximum setting? what is your frame rate in trials and in cyrodiil?

No issues with it. Just dont auto optimize.

If I would let experience optimize my ESO, My game would run like 10 fps. No wonder why

I have geforce exp but I don't use it to optimize ESO.
With 1080TI and vertical sync off I get 100 fps in overland and about 70+ in dungeons and trials and about 50 in Cyro.
