Have any of you ever done a progression of build video?

My mother in law said, your house is very pretty but I don't really know what all goes into building a house. And I was wondering if any of you have a video, like a screenshot video or even a sped up one, showing you building a home?

I have a 10m "speed build" of that Wizard of Oz set. The focus was to illustrate how to use EHT, but it does show a time lapse of that build throughout.

It's a much simpler build than what you guys typically do; but perhaps that underscores how much effort you all typically put into your builds. I believe that, for the point you are trying to make, you could skip to about 4:00 to start.

I plan to soon do a "How to" video for house construction using Elsweyr structures. Plan is to remove items in a particular sequence and then record as I undo the removals so that the house seems to materialize piece by piece

That's a really cool way to present a build video.

BTW, don't forget to make sure that the edits do not exceed the base game's 100 (I believe?) undo step maximum. Also, just wanted to add that you could Select the built structure(s) with EHT and save that selection as a backup just in case - or even to repeat the process any time, in the same house or another house.

Based on the few times I have decorated a house extensively, a 10X Speed Up video would still be 2 or 3 hours long

I was thinking about doing that too, but I think I'd surpass the 100 undo maximum. I'd have to edit the video tho because there's long periods of standing there thinking. edit: unless i use a small house, hmm.
