Any proper unlockable real Red dye that isn't PvP related?

Afaik, fire drake is the only one giving you a nice red and not a another guaranteed pink shade.
Tried the Battlegrounds for the first time, as I think MMOs for proper and fair pvp is just a no no. Didn't liked it one bit, between animations, CCs escapes the targeting system, I couldn't see myself going through a grind of 1000 KILLED players. And I did the World VS World backpiece grind in GW2 despite not liking much of it, because the combat flow was bearable.

Isn't there any other good red dye but unlockable on the PvE side ? Got the crafting one (rank10) which isn't so bad, but not a real crimson red like I want.

Damn shame, so many pinks.

Hmmm if the metallic look on light armor (cloth parts) isn't annoying for you, then I would recommend to try out

1. Dragonstar Red Time Trial: Hel Ra Citadel
2. Daedric Red General Executioner (all named anchor bosses)

I would say both are deep crimson in terms of color scheme.
Dragonstar more bright and daedric more dark.

Both are PvE, and pretty easy to obtain. Dragonstar quick if you can get a decent craglorn grp. Daedric red is solo-able content but eats up time if you are unlucky with named boss spawns

Thanks I'll have a look at those, it's mainly for the mazzatun light legs (skirt) and Sai Sahan spaulders, but mostly for Mazzatun.

yeah I'd recommend both that Lisutaris did. The HRC red is less pure red imo -- it looks more two-toned, almost red with reddish blue.

if you have access to the PTS, you have all the dyes unlocked if you make a new, maxed character in the character creation on PTS. But yeah, I think the ability to preview any dye should definitely be on the regular live game.

That's why I picked up the Canadian red/white dye when it was in the CS around Canada Day. Super vivid red; I love it.

Yeah, Daedric is very deep and rich in color. BUT on some armor parts I would not underestimate the look of Dragonstar Red. If the basic style is very dark, daedric red could be too much.

Khenarthi red is nice and vibrant on some motifs/costumes but can sometimes look washed out. I used it a lot before I got Firedrake.

Always keep an eye out in the Crown Store. During the July 4th time-frame, they had different variants of vibrant red in dye sets.

No, you can also dye normal gear the same way.

New Dye
The exquisite Hollowfang Cruor dye can be obtained by completing both Moongrave Fane and Lair of Maarselok on Veteran difficulty.

It's only on PTS so far, but it's a really nice red dye.

regal red is the best red in the game lol

second best red imo is firedrake which is just uncommon but matte and very bold even on the armors that dont dye so well. That one is pretty easy to get, just 1000 kills in TDMs, you can chip away at that over a long time if you need.

Syffim red is an easy one and can look really good on a lot. It looks pinkish on the palette but it’s a good red when actually on things.

Magnus Setting Red is not bad either, it's a bit brighter than Daedric.

You get a decent red from the base game main quest. There's also Pact Conqueror Red. Btw here's a video showcasing all red dyes.

Also the new dungeon dlc coming out next month will have what looks like a super rich red, for beating both new dungeons on vet. Footage of that red dye is on the channel of the dude I posted the video from.

Daedric red is the only one that comes to mind. I know there’s also Regicide red and ruby throne red but those are PvP ones.
