Skills that depend on another action to actually work?

First with the Grim Focus approach of paying for a skill that requires other events to fall into place for the skill to actually work at all - i.e. taking resource for no guaranteed effect.

Now Flying Daggers and morphs where you have to basically run over to someone and light attack to get the buff up. At the same time you leave untouched the Netch skill which gives resources and the same buff for free... so much for this being about balance?

What's next a skill which drains all your resources for a 1% chance of causing 2 damage to someone?

I get that Zo$ love crown crate gambling but please can we at least have combat skills that aren't based on RNG?
