Which spec do you currently main in ESO?

I'm not playing ESO so can't choose a spec.

Because any semblance of balance has been completely gutted and thrown out the window. Elsweyr was just the straw that broke the camels back for me. After dealing such for nearly 2 years.

5 of my 7 characters were Stamina though. Magicka kinda always bored me in this game.

Except for thieving, in which case it's mostly Stamina.

Also, I have a couple of stam DPS but I only run them if someone else is tanking or healing.

Mag Sorc, and I will play it forever regardless of how high up it ranks on the DPS scales. I have 80 days of game time on my Mag Sorc, I am currently taking a break from the game until this next patch comes out for the most part(daily rewards logging and have cancelled my sub), but I will still play for free as long as it is allowed that 20 minutes a day(10 of it being in load screens).

No choice on both. I have a Stamina and a Magicka version of each class, along with some hybrid tanks.

This doesn’t take into consideration those who main tanks or healers. But then again, technically healers could fall under the magicka spec. It’s just that most tanks are a hybrid in the sense that they invest in both stamina and magicka stats/regen.

Not sure what I should answer as my main is a Stamblade, but my other most played characters are a Magsorc and a MagDK

Edited for clarification: I know the poll calls for the main spec, it's just that going by most played time the two mag alts combined get more play time than my stam main

Agree, but Tanks don't need much stamina or stamreg if they are not build to permablock. Stamreg is also pointless on such a build since you can't restore stamina while blocking. The only reason tanks are often build as hybrids is the ressource management. Using shards and synergies restore more or only the ressource with higher maximum. You tweak it around till you have slightly more stamina on one bar and slightly more magicka on the other bar, so you have control over what ressource you restore. Playing a non-hybrid tank is sometimes annoying, because of this. For example you are mag Tank and need to block alot and can't take your shield down for heavy attack in this situation, you run out of stamina and the shard restores only your already full magicka. Or as a stam Tank the same happens with magicka, you can't cc or chain/pull when you run out of magicka and I tend to ask healer for orbs in this situations. But now orbs are getting nerfed.

I’ve always been a magicka groupie. I only have two stam toons. A stamden and stamblade. Just dusted off my ice magden last night for a few BGs. I forgot how hard she hits and how annoying she must be with all the ice field stacking that I do lol.

Though as you can see by my sig I really like Magicka Sorcerer. But I wanted to try something different so I went with a Stamina Warden ( I like help from animals ) using Sword & Board . It was tough at first but now I love it.

That's for the salt players that don't understand simple things like what pay to win actually is or how to ride the balancing waves. You can do most of this game without min max, and it's more fun imo to pull stuff off when you aren't speced for God mode.

ESO is one of the best MMOs out there and the lore and community should be worth more than these people realize. I hope they are happy back at whichever toxic community they crawl back to.

I'v always preferred magika because I can utilize my stamina pool for just blocking, dodging, and sprinting without having to think about it otherwise.

When I tried stamina I could never seem to balance my usage since skills use the same pool as you do for your defense.
