Crafting/improvement bug - unable to use due to large pop up

I've come across this error today and have scoured the net including this forum for an answer to no avail. I've looked through every setting, and disabled add-ons.
Basically I am unable to click the - or + to add/subtract materials under 'chance' as it is covered by the pop out gear info that wont go away, when there is a long description.
Please help!
