Purifying Light still not seeing a damage fix. Apparently now a Restoring Light Skill.

@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_Gilliam - has this skill ever reliably dealing damage been abandoned so it can be reclassified as a heal now?

From the PTS notes...

  • Purifying Light (morph): Decreased the healing per tick by approximately 29%.

    In what way(s) are you having trouble dealing damage with this ability? Are the heals still stackable?

    In a trial setting the stored damage component regularly doesn't fire. Not sure if the ability doesn't play nicely when multiple copies are running or if something else breaks. Has been like this for a long while now but no fix in sight.

    Oh, ok. If it is only recognizing one at a time, then a possible solution would be to make the base skill and its morphs only copy the caster's damage and treating all other caster's applications on an individual basis.

    Without knowing exactly where the code is breaking it's hard to know what might fix it. I can say from my own testing that it is normally entirely reliable when parsing solo but normally drops to a ~50% failure rate in trials.My trial group does include other Templars, hence the suspicion on it potentially having issues with multiple versions running (possibly including the PotL morph).

    Just hoping that if it will eventually be acknowledged and lined up for a fix, particularly if ST abilities will be come more mandatory for ST fights from U23 on.
