Hey everyone,
I noticed some of the things you get from the new Baandari Pedlar Crates are not in the crown store for gems. I am really wanting that Pedlar Pack Senche Cub but have noticed I cant get it with gems. So I have a few questions.
1) Has ZOS said why some items are limited to RNG and cant be purchased with gems that you get? Seems a bit rough to earn gems from spending real money or gold on crates without a safety net of at-least getting gems to purchase the item if your RNG is bad.
2) Is the Pedlar Pack Senche a apex reward?
3) If it is a apex reward, how rare are the apex rewards?
4) Did I miss something and will it be available in the crown store or with gems at a later date? I admittedly dont keep up to date with all the news for this game and may of missed out on some info.

✭✭The "preview" crates were poorly named, IMHO.
The pets were only available from those preview crates, and of course, you only get one per account.

I spent 2000 crowns and 750k in game gold on like 20 crates because people said you could get those pack pets from the crates...
So they dont even drop in this new crate and only dropped in the daily log in one?....

You can browse the crate offerings by clicking on the tiers of rewards. What is shown is all that can potentially be awarded.
I would suggest, if you were so inclined, writing a very polite letter to Customer Service. Let them know you spent your Crowns hoping to get the pack pets, which were advertised for the new Crown Crates.For a moment, nothing happened. Usually the crates contain the listed items for gem. You can also check them by right clicking on the crate and preview it. I didn't see the pets either sooo.. yeah.

Thank you for your replies. This has helped me cut my losses before I bought any more crates in game for gold..
It sucks I spent 750k and 2000 crowns (which I could of sold for 400k) on a crate that never could of gave me the item I wanted. Especially since I didnt want anything else from the crate, literally. This 1.15M blunder has also hurt my goal of obtaining 25M in cash as well..
What was the free crate from the login rewards called? I thought it was a Baandari Pedlar Crate. So I figured that the drops would be the same and since everyone was getting the pack pets that the new Baandari Pedlar Crates would also drop them.
If the free crate was named something completely different than I am a idiot I guess.. If it was called Baandari Pedlar Crates or something similar I feel like I was kind of duped by ZOS..
Either way.. trash can meet 1.15M gold..

Oh I didnt know you could do that.. This was the first time I ever bought crates for in game gold or crowns.. This information has been very helpful. Thank you.
This thread has shown me many ways in which I could of saved myself from burning 1.15M gold for literally nothing..
Im an idiot and my 25M gold goal will just take me longer now I guess..

As sneaky as you might consider it, and it is indeed open to interpretation, yes, they were named differently. The preview crate was called the Baandari Preview Crate, not Pedlar.
I agree it's a bit of a lame move but the way I see it, there was just enough difference in naming for ZOS to have the "high ground" in any dispute.
