I love the idea behind a Stamina DK, but only having two poison skills is kinda meh. And both of them are melee range only. Where is a poison spit or something for projectile? Instead, they kept the fireball and made it scale with highest stat.

tinkered with that exact thing a few different times but always bet myself for trying to convert a magicka character into effectively a stamina character lol.

so I end up going S/B on classes that have decent built in spamables like templar / necro / etc. it does not last long, especially with how easy and effective something like magicka sorc is compared to trying to force something to work.


by the way thanks for the votes and replies everyone, lots of DK comments but there seems to be a silent NB majority.

Stamina Templar, and here is why.

- Spammable is great for both single target and AoE DPS, no need to slot separate skills.
- Spammable grants Major Savagery, granting an additional 10% critical chance.
- Spammable has a built in damage proc, free damage!
- Repentance turns sustain into a joke. "What sustain?"
- Rune Focus gives incredible armor bonuses while standing in it, and standard bonuses while not. Oh yeah, more sustain too.
- Class Purge with ally synergy, scales off of better resources? Yes please.
- Paladin-esque theme really does it for me.

I like to throw in Night Mother's Gaze on my Stamplar, then my spammable grants two Major Buffs/Debuffs.

I like this too because its pretty sleeper, silver lash and other FG take care of any trouble it might have.

stamblade has the most utility and tricks of any stam class. fear, cloak, shade, etc.
you have a gap closer, single target spamable, aoe spamable, 3 ults that cover your bases damage types.
the list goes on

Don’t even bother with Magicka, they all suck (except maybe PetSorc). And after seeing the sets coming in the next update Magicka will even fall further behind so no reason to play Magicka at all especially when you don’t like it.

Every Stamina build is very strong, class doesn’t matter that much. Depending on PvE or PvP Stamcro, Stamden or StamDK might be best.

I favour rogues nb as a class is my favourite I love both magblade and stamblade there both aggressive and fast suits my play style. Bk in dragon age when I wasn’t playing a rogue I was playing a blood mage that’s exactly what range magblade reminds me off 😎

My main is a MagDk but I also run all classes in PvP except warden and necromancer and among the stamina classes, the stamblade has the best potential, you can do everything with it.

Ah I see, the does sound fun, I just don't play mine like that I guess mostly PVE dungeons. I don't use a single one of those abilities other than the aoe. I also dropped surprise attack for flurry which works better for me.

StamNB here, after going back and forth between magicka classes and finally settling on magNB and also achieving a ton on it; it's fair to say I like NB. Because of recent nerfs I converted to magPlar and just don't enjoy the class that much so finally decided to give stam a serious go again, as StamNB is still very much strong.

Just feels like I know NB quite well after maining magNB for a year, so don't want to completely part from what I've come to enjoy. Hence stamNB.

What seems to steal it for me is the darker theme which I'm not used to playing in games at all, and the much faster paced feel it has.
My stamNB was my 3rd character whilst my magNB was my 8th/9th, I was trash on my stamNB back then so gave up on it and went stamDK.. Since I understand NB much more it's been a hell of a lot easier playing stamNB than before.

Though if I had to pick another stam it'd be DK as I had a good while spent on it when it was brain-dead easy to play during the heavy attack meta, and was also my first serious attempt at playing stam.

I would like to level my stamCro but too burnt out and lazy to grind a new toon out tbh.

Funny you should mention Silver Leash! I recently did my first Stamplar-VMA trip, and did pretty well. I prefer Silver Leash over Stampede because it allows me to setup my "safe area" and play within it.
