literally the only thing you had to do to keep me subbed and in the game was keep the game running smoothly. Eso has been a laggy mess, either through server latency or crappy fps due to unoptimizations. but the game is being designed for the crown store, and will likely never be fixed.

whats sad is ill get a lot of hate from players saying "we wont miss you" when I just want the gameplay to not suck. I want what any reasonable person wants for this game. unfortunately, as long as the devs priority is the crown store and not fixing the game, its not going to be worth my subscription. "but zenimax is fixing the game, didnt you see?" theyve been "fixing" the game since it came out. im still getting bugs that zenimax ensure us have been fixed in the most recent patches. they seem to be putting 0% effort into making the game playable

I mean your complaints are valid and it's sad it's gotten to this point. There's no defending the abysmal performance.

Nothing like selling more content and attracting new players when you've already admitted that you've had to limit server population (PC-EU) to prevent crashes.

First of all OP speaks only about ESO+ q, not about qq.
Second.. there were dozens of good MMOs which eventually died due to age or poor management, so no, people eventually let it go if game is nothing but trouble.

I'm right there with you. My sub is down and won't go back up until we have stable servers and a working game (the game is playable but only if you like how turtles move). The only real way to hit zos where it hurts is the wallet.

But as long as people keep white knighting the game it will always run terribly, until one day it doesn't run anymore (just look at dcuo they went the way of micro transactions just like ESO and that game went from very popular to abysmal because they let their version of "crowns" control everything and never invested in more stable servers/performance issues).

Both the game AND the community has gone down hill severely over the past year, IMO. And yes, it's really sad. Sorry to see another loyal player ready to bounce.

Totally agree with you, sadly i have also recently cancelled my sub and stopped p playing after nearly 2 years. The game in its current state just aint worth my time anymore. How people are still playing this game on a serious level is beyond me. I think alot of people are just in denial, and or are just so used to poor performance that it just comes across as normal to them so they just put up with it.

Best of luck finding another game to pass the time with, they are out there just take a break and do some research.

This game is DOG ***!, this is the ONLY game I have played where they don't even fix the main issues that are voiced by the community. I remember GTA 5 came out and they had issues with their servers where you would get kicked and could not log back in, or you would restart the app countless times to be able to play, or you would get kicked from a session. But what do you know they fixed it!! within the first week or so. It has been almost 5 years since this game has been released. And legit there are so many damn bugs in this game it's pointless to list them all! Yall are really out of pocket, and foul for even allowing this game to be this bugged out for this long. You guys focus way too much in the wrong crap! A game that was once enjoyable is no longer that. And yes people can say stop playing, or try another game. All this money that I and others invested in has been thrown to waste! The crown store half the time is garbage anyway. But yet i know you guys still manage to make sales. But there is no way in hell you guys play PVP, because if you truly did you would not allow the mess that goes on to even occur!

And stop telling us about the rules and agreement to the forums! Because seriously you have angry customers and we can say whatever we need to say to get you guys to realize we are FED UP! I'm tired of it and it needs to be "REALLY" fixed!!

I hadn't experienced this much before but just got booted randomly twice in a row tonight. PC NA, which has been a little more stable than some of the other servers. If that becomes a common thing I'm 100% going to unsub.

Only play a main, no sub (would sub if pvp got some luv), master crafter, crafting dailies, & don't miss the craft bag at all.

Throughout the week I place crafting materials in bank, & on Sunday pull them out with a mule. When ESO+ free week comes around I put my materials in craft bag.

I dont keep furnishing, style, & sell everything else pre 150 for research.

Seems like fairly meager requirements to keep a sub up. Just keep the game functionally playable.

Just use some mule-characters, chests, the addons Dustman, Bankit and RulebasedInventory, and never miss the craftbag. And sometimes, when ESO+ is free, all mats are moved from the mules into the bag. Save your crowns for the DLC, maybe buy a big crown pack when there is a huge discount.

Although I am not experiencing what others describe, or at least not to that degree, I mean the most that has happened to me is a little bit of lag in both PvE and PvP, especially in heavily populated areas. I too have canceled my ESO+ simply in solidarity of those who aren’t getting the performance they deserve. ESO is a great game when it works, but as a community we should stand with each other and at least want a game that works for everyone and not just a select few.
