Refabricated Motif Has finally been Released 2 Years Later

ESO:Morrowind released over 2 years ago on June 6th, 2017 and still, Halls of Fabrication's Refabricant motif has yet to be released. Summerset's Cloudrest trial got their motif first despite Morrowind being around for a while. If both Cloudrest and Sunspire get their motifs first, that would imply that this motif has been forgotten about.

Yeah, it's been a big bummer that they haven't released it yet. I kept expecting them to, but they never did.

They recently mentioned it in a Q&A. about the possibility of bringing back motifs they haven't released yet. There's obviously a reason they didn't internally. it's not like they somehow forgot it existed. They just didn't. They might bring it back some day, who knows. it's not that complicated. It's not a conspiracy theory or like they just forgot that halls of fabrications is a thing in their video game.

Of course we could look at this as cup half full and assume that the next class will be Tinkerer, and they want to release this motif closer to that! :P

the question that person asked was
1.) There are several motifs in the game that are not available to the player. Refrabricated comes to mind as a rather infamous example, will we ever see any of these motifs that are already out there, but not available?

1 - Motifs: there's always that possibility. We are constantly building new things.

yeah its weird, don't see a reason they wouldnt release it also to encourage more people to run HOF - maybe there is an issue with turning the style into a motif because of clipping or something and thats why they thought the hassle would be to big?

The problem is also with Asylum which doesnt give any motif and both trials are from 2017.

There's no unique sets in that trial though, sets are the same as overland ones. They'll maybe make it drop style pages, like they're gonna do with Maelstrom Arena.

I get the feeling that they thought the motifs for Morrowind were too many and it's gonna be hard to keep up in the later chapters (which is true consider there are less motifs for Summerset and even less for Elsweyr), so they thought about just bring it in for the clockwork city

Then I don't know they probably just said "ahh screw it let's not mention it at all"

Yeah, it's just the apostle motif, which is already pretty easy to get. took me a month of active grinding to complete it.

this... makes a lot of sense actually. We have bouyant arminger, ashlander, morag tong, telvanni, hlaalu, redoran, militant ordinator as well (although that was pvp it was introduced with morrowind)... that's 7 motifs. Sure some were released over time, but that's how all chapters with motifs work.

Summerset had Psijic, Sapiarch, Pyadonean, and then eventually Welkynar. That's 4.

Elweyr has 1 so far.

They're really toning down the pace of how many and how often to make it more easy for people to achieve i guess? Morrowind did feel a little overwhelming in that respect. I guess it works though because I felt more motivated to finish Anequina motif since it was the only one available, and now i'm excited to finish Pelletine when it comes out later this month.

Yes, there are unique sets in that trial. Each weapon has it's own 2-piece set, as well as a Perfected Version.

Reach Winter is even older and no plans for that to be craftable. Although that one may only exist in medium and weapons.

Same as a great many other "partial" motivs.
Reach Winter, anyone? Dark Seducer? Shroud of the Lich? And a few others I can think of...

It most likely will come someday. Maybe as motiv... more likely though in the same way as the "companion" visuals - as reward for some special activity someday. Well... or in some crown crates. Or something like that.

It’s not like this style has to go through the approval process with the Art Team or anything ... it’s already in the game.

Some minor programming and assigning where pages should drop and, voila, an in-game motif.

We’re not creating rocket science here.

Doesn't Tempest Island have a non-craftable "Moarmer" motif that is different than the Pyandonean one you get from fishing in Summerset? Another really old one that never got motif pages.
