Considerations on bugs, fixes and server issues

First of all excuse my poor english language, I don't use it very often lately.
Sometimes it appears easy to judge other people's actions and we think we could do things in a better way and often we find out that things are far different from what we thought them to be...
This game is a great project and great projects may have great issues, the point is improving this project and if a fix fails the next could take advance from past failures, this is true not only for single bugs but also for the way the entire project is managed.
This said, I have noticed (but this is only my opinion) too much effort spent on new content and too few attention to old issues and game balance; I know incomes that keep game alive come from new content for the most part but on the long run you have to care about old (often subscribing) playerbase that is aware of issues and bugs and waits for good fixing and maintenance and newcomers who are not aware of game's issues and come to try new game features. You can't think an old player will keep on play (and pay) for bugged content and the newcomers should soon discover all these issues too, migrating to other mmorpgs. I've no reason to doubt about efforts spent by game developers on ESO but promises about future improvements are not enough, player base need a taste of the goodwill of Bethesda and needs it now (not to mention the incredibly bad state of service of european servers).
So all I suggest is a better distribution of resources on new content development and old content maintenance, and let me say less useless marketing and more game design.
