Do you think we can negotiate with ZoS to make a user interface (see inside)...

The standard UI is fine for me, it gives me all I want and although on PC I don't use addons at all.

    2. How could we start that negotiation?
    3. What would be your minimum requirements for the user interface?

Mainly my problems with UI is in guild banks and guild store.

Considering it took 5 years to make the guild store interface into something sligthly resembling AGS, but still quite inadequate I would say all we have to do is wait until the year 2040. By this time a final and complete cure for cancer may also have been discovered so that will be double the awesomeness. Now we just need to enter some sort of cryo chamber so we can wake up to the good times.

1: I dont think it is possible to negotiate this with ZOS..
2: As a minimum there should not be 1-32 seconds of lag when clicking on something in the guild store or when trying to withdraw deposit things from the guild bank.

I.... kind of doubt that ZOS is interested in "negotiating" anything with anyone.

Yeah, I think they should place all the stuff in the game and then most of the addons wouldn't be necessary anymore.

As a possible option that would benefit ZoS:

We could perhaps have the "add-ons" that are integrated into the user interface be added to the crown store and therefore you could choose to have them or not

    EDIT:

If they did this with one add-on, like perhaps skyshard locations (skyshards are in the crown store so precedence already set)
This would enable ZoS to find out if this is what ppl want.....

    Sorry, but no.

I'm not paying extra for essential game features.

This stuff should just be in the game as a matter of course.

The incentive for ZoS should be attracting more players and then losing fewer of them.

    I don't use combat addons.

Just trading, treasure maps, auto-refine, EHT; stuff like that.

addons are like salt and pepper -

it is better to be able to add them

up to your own taste rather than

to have a dish with standardized amounts

with no possibility to change 'em ;)

But, many current in-game features can be switched on and off via settings?

Eh, me too. I don't use combat stuff. I'm just happy to get to "not dead yet" when 3+ mobs land on top of me.... *sigh*

the "not paying extra" I can understand - but "essential game features" that they are not - you need an add-on to access them.....

there hasnt been a single ui designed in the history of history that wasnt able to be improved by addons when their respectable game allowed for addons to be used.

theyd be better off teaching us how to code and make our own addons and say "make your own ui"
