What gives? Now where will all the feedback channel from? Forums are a mess for feedback.

Can anyone provide insight into what this means for the programme? What about the related feedback threads on these forums?

I can only hope that this nonsensical class representative program is about to end and ZOS starts managing feedback them selves instead of having players do it.

    LOL.

You really ask here for proper communication? The only time ZoS do it the right way, is when something is wrong with crown store

As far as I'm aware, the Discords weren't owned by ZOS.

There was a lot of drama, and more than a bit of deeply messed up behavior, coming out of those discords. Not (necessarily) by the Reps themselves, but by certain subsets of players who participated.

The program will (probably) continue, but the Rep discords were more of a liability than an asset.

    Thank you.

But he asked about program, not discord. And reps program is ZoS invention

    Interesting.

I assume the news broke in a Discord server somewhere? As I've not seen any posts about it.

I haven't seen anything first hand about the Discord servers getting taken down. But, given some of the background I am aware of, it sounds credible.

Hmm maybe they will actually use the Official class threads now. Like say Nightblade, I skimmed over it and I don't see a single post from the class rep anywhere in the entire thread. I can't speak for all class reps as I seen some of them post in their respected threads. I mean isn't that what those threads are for though?

The Rep's job is to filter through the feedback, and hand the abstract off to ZOS for analysis. Not, necessarily, to participate in the conversation. That said, some of the reps did, also, function as community relays, passing information back to the community at large. Though that did come to a halt when the NDAs went out.

I won't lie though, using the official forums to communicate would be a better step in the right direction communication wise. Rather than using just a third party platform like Discord but that's just my opinion.

Not about to disagree with that.

I know some of the reps felt the need to go to the discord servers (official and otherwise) to collect a wider range of feedback. The forums, (and Reddit for that matter), only account for a tiny fragment of the game's overall population, and the views on those platforms tends to be pretty insular. That said, I'm not sure Discord is much of an improvement on that, rather than just another platform with the same issues.

Reps have their own discord. Which is basically a super concentrated lurk thread for the devs. Then a meeting to see if reps won't trigger over changes. No constant direct contact with the Devs. It was and if still active a sounding board or soft soft opening to balance changes and other related details. Class rep are more of a demographic sample, a homogeneous(each spec represented) focus group to gauge the direction of future patches.

It hasn't changed from the original description of what they represented. A voice, to be heard not always listened to but heard.

Doesn’t matter if they manage themselves or class reps. They don’t use the feedback and do what they want.

Class rep program was put in a a time when complaints of the game were at a all time high so it’s implementation essentially put a buffer between ZOS and everyone else.

Nothing matters in regards to balance anyways because the game is a performance nightmare and unplayable from 6-11cst.

its bad from 11-1am too now.

The program is a joke, you know how I know? The actual word of former class reps.

Are you talking about Tasear? If so. LOL.

you still have kena, liofa, gand that jumped ship. 2 out of the 3 I bet would have no issue speaking their mind (I know I would do the same).

They dont listen to the Reps anyways.

If they truly disregarded the class reps do you really think they would remain class reps merely for the fancy title?
    Really, idk
