Yes, you can ride a horse in the Elsweyr aqueduct!

While exploring Elsweyr, I couldn't help but wonder if it were possible to ride a horse in the aqueduct. Well it is, and the aqueduct make an excellent horse track.

Its not a "true" game until our mounts can scale sheer cliffs like mountain goats.

when you finish the quest in that area, they tap the aqueduct of water

So awesome! I actually found that cave where you started and went inside, but didn't find the sweet spot to get up on that rock next to the tree. I was hoping it was where one of the dragons spawned, lol.
Edit: I found the sweet spot 😎 Now, can one duel up there? 🤔

For those that want to visit the forgotten Cadwell & Abnur Tharn the coordinates are 4.34 x 5.84 (according to my friend's whatever it is that gives these).

I also took a screenshot for those without the addon. Note that they won't be visible until you're very close so just ride around the little hills out there and you'll find them. They're near the big drop off.

Super cool. I just did this on console and loved it. Felt like I was playing Oblivion again. ♥ Kind of spooky going around the edge of the map during the night cycle though. I had to ride slow while I figured out what was shadow and what were sheer drop-offs.

Yes, my friend and I did it in the dark during a storm. We had many very close moments where we nearly went off cliffs into oblivion. It was a lot of fun though.

For anyone who wants to watch a dragon spawn, this is roughly where I had one spawn on top of me. The group marker. It actually scared the crap outta me as I was not expecting it.

The Aqueduct really is a magnificent piece of architectural engineering from the Khajiit, and I'm really surprised how easy that path out of bounds was. Thanks again for sharing it before ZOS inevitably catches on and patches an invisible wall there.

You guys discovered some excellent stuff. I found the house that is the area where the dragon spawns and cut that out of my original video to save time, but didn't know that the dragon spawns in this area.

BTW, I have can post another video of the Shadowfen zone where it's easy to jump into the inactive area. If you guys want me to post it let me know and I'll edit the then upload the video. Actually if your a Sorcerer with the streak ability there are two other ways to get through the invisible barrier surrounding Shadowfen.

The only zones that I haven't be able to bypass the invisible barrier were those that are islands (surrounded by water and guarded by slaughter fish) and the Gold Coast. Unfortunately, to access most of these areas you need to be a Sorcerer with the streak ability enabled.

@ArchMikem Did you go today after the 18gb patch, or before? I'm thinking about doing some more exploring, but I'm wondering if it still works.

I know the intermittent lag in the Elsweyr map and crashes in Rimmen are the same for me as before the patch (fine for me in the rest of the vanilla game areas).

@RSram I would love to see video of other areas you've explored. I have a Sorc, so I could just explore with her any place that needs streak.
