Honestly, i pug more that just few times, but every time i do, i end up being off tank, pulling adds, soft agroing priorety adds and dancing with them, soft agroing boss cause tanks dont know how to hold block and dancing with them. And then i end up hating my life for trying to pug heal vet dlc and raging in the forums. I should stop, but i don't think i would.

I almost never try to pug a vet dlc dungeon on any role because 13 million players and maybe 500 know how to play and they aren't in dungeon finder pugging..

It has nothing to do with the content in itself, but I only play my healer if someone needs the pledges and I've already done it on my main, so, not a pug.

I don't mind doing it as long as everyone is on the same page. If everyone is good, well equipped, and knows the mechanics great. If everyone's new and needs to be walked through, fine. Different experience levels are a part of pugging and that means dying is too. It's when half the group don't know what they are doing and the other half are speed runners that vet DLC just turns into clown world. No one asks questions because they can't because someone keeps pulling and they keep dying to the same preventable mechanic. I can't heal one-shots but I'm trying. Everyone's getting frustrated, there's no communication, and it erodes at your soul.

Like, literally the other day in vMoS I had a tank say "I DON'T KNOW THE MECHANIC!" after dying and then immediately pulled again. And then we died again, and several more times in the same span of time it would have taken to explain the mechanic and get it right. I rarely ever ragequit dungeons, but after trying to explain mid-fight and dying on the mini boss for 10 minutes I was done. I will sit in that dungeon for 3 hours with you if you're trying, but if you're being a jack ass you can waste your own time, not mine.

Used to, but too many bad experiences make me very uneasy about pugging vets completely.

I used to pug vets a lot as a healer. Usually I random vets so get DLCs less then other vets.

As a healer you can make up for poor dps a lot easier then you can as a tank.

Think I’ve finished a lot of encounters with just me and the tank up.

Sometimes. Issues remain the same as in any other role: pug may not be aware of the mechs and that's the worst of your problems.

Every poll 4 option, cross them with 4 options, 16 options, cross them with four options again, 64 options, imagine it as a 3d 4X4X4 cube that your position on it is very specific. Thats 64 options.

I have no friends ) I had joined one guild recently but there is nothing going on. At least in chat. I dont want to bother with voice chats so you take what you get i guess.
PuG is the only option for me if i wanna to do vet dungeons at all.

I never understood the notion that PUGs are repugnant (hurrrrrr clever).

Isn't it better to contribute to and cultivate a community that encourages more participation. While some sit back and spit out 'l2p' commentary as if it's prescient, others demonstrate patience and stand by that individual as they learn.

I'm happy to do the latter. Every. Single. Time.

My healer does do random normals and dungeons with other guildies. Occasionally there will only be 2 or 3 of us so we will go PUGing.

i was hoping there was a companion thread for this. Yeah, no, I'm not going to waste 2+ hours of my day explaining mechanics when I, as the healer with nothing but light attacks and blockade, am doing 40% of the damage.

Uh i had an argument like that, a pug that knows how to spam bol but not how to not stand in red as a dd made me swap to a dd cause i am a dk heal, sob #vDoM last boss
