As most of you know, Molten Whip is currently bugged that Seething Fury is not consumed on Whip usage. After yesterday progression raid, I would love for it to stay - my dps skyrocketed to typical melee levels. I am aware that it can be broken in pvp, so here is suggestion:
Make the Seething Fury being consumed when player is hit, but not the mobs. Similar to Negate and Telly Strike, this skill would have different effect when hit mobs and players.
MagDK is always shunned by more advanced groups, due to not bringing anything than a shield to the group, other than making tank not being responsible for Engulfing Flames.They can't directly compete with most magicka specs, because of 7 metres range, while dps itself is much lower than stamina specs. Whith Seething Fury not consumed on Whip, magDK can finally take place within melee spots offering better survivability and additional utility of freeing tank from chaining trash.
Some can argue that full stacked whip hits harder than bow proc while being easier to maintain so it shouldn't give so much damage. I agree to some degree, but also point some significal differences:
-Bow proc can be shot from any distance. Whip still have 7 metres.
-Bow can be held to some degree (when boss is moving), Whip empower last 5 seconds, unless spamming FoO or Engulfing, wasting magicka, if you cant use chain at the moment.
-Bow now heals, Whip is not. Embers do, but you have to cast it 2 times if you want it faster again wasting magicka.
-DK sustain is worse than NB's
-Sorc pets exist
Please consider this change. I don't want character that I put so much time and love into to be useless again.
