volundrung kill achievement bugged?

I got a ton of kills with it even got a revenge and kill necro achievement while holding it. Wasn’t in a group with anyone and I used that awesome ulti on a whole squad of people who were in load screens on the keep transit stone and still no kill achievement with this awesome weapon. Anyone else had this issue?

The Volendrung Vanquisher and Volendrung Wielder achievements will now complete as expected. Note this fix is not retroactive.

If it's anything like that stupid pie achievement they put it the people have to hit you back and you can't kill them too fast etc...

I killed 2 wielders over the weekend and the related achievement wouldn't unlock. Having issues with the Necromancer killer ones, too. Had killing blows on dozens and the tracker says 3.

I have killed the holder of the Volendrung multiple times, twice today even, and have not got this achievement yet. So, still bugged.

I got the kill someone while using Volendrung achievement in the beginning of May, but I probably killed 30 people before I got it. Strange.

Just curious, were you in a group when you did it or solo? Since it wouldn't surprise me the slightest if the achievement would work in a similar way to kill 40 players. I got it ages ago by delivering a killing blow while being solo.

I found the opposite, ive had the weapon a few times solo.

Normally i will go looking for it and then pass it onto a more experienced player with a large group because lets face it im a lazy *** but atm with non CP being unlocked we get a lot of spys nicking it and 'taking off' to their mates up north (thats DC or EP not Newcastle) Im AD - and yes it happens to all factions.

A few times on the way to a keep to meet up with the usual suspect players ive had attempted ganks and had to slap them a bit, never got the credit for the kills which was sad due to wanting the Hammer sculpture for my house.

Ive even killed the carrier a few times solo and not got the credit for that either.

Long story short a few weeks ago i guessed right and again picked it up just as some friends who i group with at night logged in, stuff it i thought i will have a crack myself, having grouped up, the first guy i came across (sorry mate!) i took out with a leap and a smack without anyone else helping, instant achievement award.

Possibly coincidence but as with everything ZOS prolly just bugged.

Be Safe and Volenbabyrattleofdoom is still the most stupid thing they ever added to the game.

I was solo when I posted that, I was not only solo but I was the only one fighting the hammer. The other times I was in a very small group.

I already got the achievement for killing someone while I had the hammer but this Vanquisher achievement seems impossible. Maybe it's an either or kind of thing? I don't know.

Well in that case it does sound like a bug, unless the hammer wielder died from Volendrung itself which could be a possible way of screwing you out of the achievement. But an achievement in Cyro being bugged wouldn't surprise me the slightest either.
