Finding Good Selling Price?

How does everyone figure out a good price to sell things for in a guild vendor? Someone noted a site a while back, but the values it gave seemed much higher than the prices for the things I could check in just the vendors in Alinor.

I am running on the PS4.

Ps4 is not as cut and dry as PC.

It is advisable to join a good trading guild and ask for guidance.

Or join a discord server with a price bot that can at least ballpark it for you.

Or you can do none of the above and guess, wish, hope and pray you got it right 😒

I have that in a couple of my guilds. Is that result reliable? How does it get the data it gives?

Used to use Master Merchant, but ZOS broke the game, so until they fix it, can not use it. Mine comment is for PC, not PS4.

It's not data, its you asking folks in the guild.
Either share the item in text chat and ask for a price check, or start the convo on the guilds discord and ask the same thing.

In all honesty though just port to the three capitals and do a search, will take you 5-10 mins. And if you trade alot you quickly get a vibe for what sells / how much.

Also if you join a couple of traders from big cities, you can access then from your Bank, takes minutes.

Curious, what are you trying to sell? Folks here might give you a ball park. You can't trade here but can ask an estimate

It depends on what I want to check. Sometimes it is purple drops, sometimes mats, other things.

The guild function I am thinking of is an automated bot. ("!price xyz") It doesn't always work, but some guilds have one. I have wondered where it gets its values from.

I am not going back to playing World of Warcraft now, but this does make me wish for the tools I had there to find out things like this.

Best way is to search traders and write down typical selling prices on the ps4.

And that takes a lot of time on the PS4. I want a better way, especially if we are stuck with this system!

Agreed. I've found the vendors in outside Belkarth have fairly reasonable prices. Deshaan has some okay ones mixed in with the insane, "I want 180,000 for my Mother's Sorrow Lightning Staff with a Training trait" guys. See what the prices are and go with that. Or undercut them for a quicker sale
