Missed two mounts this month

The first was the camel. Missed it by one day. Looks like I didn't log on often enough.
Now the Twitch mount. I logged on via the wrong Twitch link, or my account wasn't completely created, or I didn't stay logged on long enough.

Mounts are rare enough as it in this game. I did not need this.

    Special events are for the people who can attend them, and not everyone will be able to attend them or meet the requirements.

    It's unfortunate and annoying. I missed a few of the live streams for drops because they would post about it the day of and I wasn't around to check.

    I watched the opening ceremony and the cinematic. Nowhere did it say I had to stay logged on more than that.

    And also I'm not sure I was watching via the proper channel. I logged on and ESO was right up top, co I clicked that.

    It was a daily log in reward for the month of May. I think players received it on their 20th or 21st day of logging in.

    It was a daily log in reward, last week. But you had to log in pretty much all month long to get it.

    I like pets, fortunately, so don't view them as junk.

    FREE CRAFTING (NA PC) SIDENOTE: Hel'phaer is a Grand Master Crafter with almost every motif (excluding Buoyant, Meridian, Coldsnap, Grim Harlequin, Tsaesci, Pellitine, and Elder Argonian because can't afford it) and will craft attractive quality and visually appealing training gear or combat sets for those interested. FREE gear for players below CP 160 (equivalent level of 210), and paid gear in some form from those CP 160 or higher.

    It is disappointing, but it's no different than missing out on the bristle gut pig they handed out a number of years ago to players who were able to attend E3 and other of their in-person events. Or the torch bug pet, though that one has also been handed out as a giveaway on some streams - but not to everyone who tuned in, just lucky winners.

    I know they're pets and not mounts, but it's the same idea. You can't get all the free swag that ZOS offers. Sure, the ones we can get just by playing or watching a stream are a real bummer to miss out on, but I, for one, have missed out on all the free items they give away at in-person events, since I live in a town where they never seem to bother to come to (Chicago) unless I've missed them if they've actually been here. But even then, real life can get in the way of being able to attend such events.

    I'm sorry you missed out on the camel mount. They didn't give much leeway on that one last month. As for the leopard mount, they only recently started sending emails out for that, so maybe they just haven't gotten to you yet? Here's hoping for your sake.

    ETA: Oh, and those pets I mentioned aren't even available to us console players.

    If you really want this stuff when it is available, read the instructions carefully on how to create a Twitch account, then carefully follow instructions on how to link your Twitch and ESO accounts.... Then carefully read the news articles that tell you which Twitch stream to watch (the Bethesda company stream), and what time to watch.

    If you want items that are offered as daily log in rewards, then carefully look at the calendar to see what is offered, then count the number of days you need to log in to get it... then be sure to log in that number of days until the day you can claim the reward.

    If you do all of that, you will never have to experience this sort of disappointment again.

    They replied, and I got the mount. All is well here, and I'm happy.

    I was initially excited about the camel mount, couldn't wait to pair it up with my redguard...after riding it around a few times - not so much excitement...

    the only place mounts seem really necessary is in cyrodiil...due to all the riding from keep to keep, it's pretty important to have a smooth ride...the camel is most definitely not a smooth ride...

    it is pretty cool for hanging around in town and spitting on people though...at least there's that...

    Last year my wife and I went on a 10th anniversary vacation which caused me to miss enough days that I couldn't get the Glowgill Guar mount daily reward. After contacting support, a very nice person said that they would credit me the mount because they could see I was an active player.

    This year my wife and I went on an 11th anniversary vacation, the timing of which was such that I missed the camel mount from May by a day, and couldn't log in enough days to get the Baandari Pedlar preview crate from this month. I contacted support again, and whoever got back to me essentially told me tough beans, no luck.

    So I guess my advice is...contact support to explain your situation, and hope you get the nicer one?

    Yeah, I'm using the camels now I have so many characters. I like a different mount and pet on everyone... and I like them to "match" more or less. I don't like the way the camels move, but they're better than either the bears or the senche raht!

    Hmmm. I wouldn't mind seeing a tiny camel non-combat pet! All got up like either of the mounts for instance.... Or hey - how about a Peddlar Pack Camel pet?

    They annoy me as well, especially since I have only been finding out about them AFTER they have happened.

    Quite annoying.

    I've missed all daily rewards for 3 and a half months now since Wrathstone arrived and my account got stuck, before that I picked every reward, it's simply too bad for customer once again as usual and very slow clap for Zenimax.

    Timed events do sukk. It's not like you can just pick the item up in the Crown store if you, oh, say have something insignificant - ... like Work .... that conflicts with their special time.

    You know they could add dungeon/trial RNG mounts that drop off bosses that EVERY MMO DOES, but you know that would be too awesome.... we have Crown Crates through....

    I sympathize with you, OP. I'm a new player who only started playing last month. Since I started in the middle of the month, I wasn't able to get the camel mount. And the email about the twitch stream got sent to spam, so I didn't see it until the day after it was over. If there were a lot of mounts available in the game itself it wouldn't be a big deal, but that's not the case, so I feel kind of bitter about it.
