The most hyped update

With the most bugs that were reported in PTS yet still made it to live. It’s sad to see such carelessness. These bugs will probably be fixed next month. Only way Bethesda can redeem the damage ZoS has done to the elder scrolls franchise is with the release of ES 6.

That has never not been true. They only fix the most egregious bugs reported in PTS, 90% of the others bugs and issues will make it into live and persist for years, sometimes permanently. I still encounter bugs in Imperial City that I know were reported from PTS.

The only reason to play pts is for early exposure to the new content. This is mostly to benefit streamers and content creators.

The combat team has been responsive to testing feedback since the personnel changes, which is refreshing. But they’re not the team that addresses non-combat skill defects.

Lots of rumors that ES6 will be heavily monetized.

Rumors are rumors, so take it with a grain of salt. But if true, will be extremely disappointed.

Mmmm, I’m or for single player elder scroll games, but now I can go across the whole continent plus more areas, stuck in one of its countries seems a bit of a back step now.

What they need to do is if they need to take more time with things then push it back, if they don’t want to do that well hire more people. It’s just a broken record from the community by now....has been fora long time. Sounds like I am being a negative bunny, but it is what it is...

That is the way the gaming industry as a whole is moving in, so I wouldn’t be surprised. Their new mobile game is plagued with microtransactions and heavy redirection to the cash store. That’s pretty typical of mobile games these days, so it’s hard to say if that will carry over to TES6, but it certainly indicates that monetization is a philosophy Bethsoft is very comfortable with.

With the mod community in ES games, how will they monetize?
Last 2 Bethesda games were kind of disasters (fallout 76 and ESBlades). The first for its huge amount of bugs and the second for the abusive monetization.
@Libonotus Bethesda has to redeem its own damage before talking to ZOS.
Baradur Morker - Level 50 Bosmer Nightblade
    Le-Duck - Level 50 Dark Elf Dragonknight
    Boom-Stormer - Level 50 High Elf Sorcerer
Nemeliom the Great - Level 50 Redguard Warden
Crazy Little Maggie - Level 50 High Elf Templar

For me it lived up to its hype and I didn't even bought Elswyr yet. But the changes they brought to the game I really enjoyed. So I say well done to them. Started playing before dragon and bones and when I look back to now, I am impressed. This is a large complex game so changes always come with defects but overall its gotten a whole lot better

Always online DRM & banning for mods that would compete with the cash shop.
