I'm just wondering... Anyone else letting the rush to subside in Elsweyr before they play it?
That's what I'm doing. After going there and seeing how crowded it was, I just took my new Necromancer back to the main game to learn how it works and level it up.
I'll go back to Elsweyr in a week or so.
Anyone else doing that?

Dragons sound cool but will be zergy early days. And this chapter didn't hold enough to interest me to bother pre order like SS & MW did (PvP stuff)

✭✭✭Started with one "old" character, but I'll wait to finish. There were a lot of players trying to do the same content at the same time as me, and that made it annoying for all of us. "Get several X" can be frustrating if there are a couple dozen people trying to find the same items in the marked zone for the quest.
Made two new necromancers, so started the content. Both of them are going to do the original quest/faction quests first though. The new content is fun, but I want my characters leveled and geared a bit better first.0 -

tonemd✭✭✭✭Personally I feel like chapter releases are the best time to jump into to the new zone. You can still get the lore but also easily complete the grinds they always include because there are so many people there.

Haenk✭✭✭✭Only missing "that" Dragon fight (now that voice works, that should be an easy fight) and "that" World Boss (which hopefully would now register, after a dozen kills without registering), otherwise I should be more or less done with the quests.
So I guess I would only login to do my daily crafting and refill Traders, which is a major pain right now.

Why? Because I don't think ZOS deserves the full price.

✭✭✭✭✭I look forward to Elsweyr but I'm primarily a soloist. Therefore, I'm letting the new and shiny wear off and allowing time to get any bugs there worked out before I go.
As a soloist, I long ago learned to happily ignore things I can't solo - like most DLC WBs. I'll join in on any such fights in progress but won't give such things a second glance or spend a moment trying to find other players otherwise.PC NA(no Steam), PvE, mostly solo0 -
BrightOblivion✭✭✭✭✭While I've not really played through it (on Live), it's not because I'm waiting for a rush to die down or haven't bought it. Instead, it's because I played through the vast majority (including the normal version of the trial) during the first couple weeks of the PTS as I tried to bug-check and pin down most of the new books the chapter added.
So I'm just not in as big of a rush to go and do and explore (since I've done that), and am choosing to focus on preparing for a real-world test and playing a different game. Elsweyr will still be here when I'm ready to return.0 -
